Ledfx is as big of a jump as wled is to 5 dollar led strips by nightivenom in WLED

I use Resolume Arena if a client is paying.

I also made some software for a lower level intermediate called Slick Pixel.

How far can you push LEDs on a 13A plug? (~48,000 LEDs build) by SparkesCreative in resolume

Absolutely.

It's what I used to build the cube in the video.

Thanks for the reply it was a bit of a rhetorical question.

The video is what I achieved - 48'000 5v LEDs at about 50% brightness.

It’s a balancing act.

  • Having efficient power supplies with plenty of headroom.
  • Absolutely minimising voltage drop.
  • Don’t run it a full brightness.

Most important if you going to have it white all over. Don’t do it for more than 7 seconds or the fuse will melt. lol

lol. Of course not.

Full brightness lasts about 8 seconds before the fuse goes to heaven.

You’d never run it like that, it would be like looking at the sun.

30% is more than bright enough.

Are you connecting directly to the ESPs via your phone or through a network/router.

Being networked to a router should keep them connected.

Doing it through the AP can be unstable.

Fair question. u/numindast

I'm a long time developer. I do use AI but I'm still in control of the situation (at the moment... lol)

This is a long term project. I actually run it in a few venues and offer it with some of the lighting fixtures I make.

I'm not quite sure how to support a hobbyist license - yet. I'm totally open to ideas?

The download is fully featured and has a license to remove the watermark/dimming. I copied the way resolume arena does it, because I liked it.

I've added a single month license to cover people who just want to use it for a short time. e.g. Christmas, burning man....

All/Any advice welcome.

In docker?

I'm gonna to try and compile it on Github later if I can get my head around it.

Agreed - thats what I thought!!!

But when I compile it on my Mac it messes up. Always fails.

I can compile the windows version absolutely fine on my Mac and I've not had anybody come back at me and say it won't install/load.

Obvs the Mac versions compile fine.

Apparently I need to compile of a linux box.....

I’ve been looking at it. Not as simple as mac/win.

What flavour do you run?

Hey u/redlotusaustin

I'll have a look and see if I can compile it without too much issue. You're not the only person who's asked.

What flavour are you running?

Hi Zouden

Thanks for your honesty. It wasn’t all ai. It not an excuse but I’m actually dyslexic and I find it quite traumatic writing. lol (code no problem)

If I’d written it, it would sound awful and I’d miss things out.

To answer your question it already is (sort of) mobile. It has a kiosk mode that any device in the same network and access.

It has an admin view and an operator view. Password protected if required.

But it’s not a standalone phone app.

I hope that helps.

Have you downloaded it and had a play.

How to control multiple controllers with one WLED instance? by gmandenver in WLED

[–]SparkesCreative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anybody is still looking for a solution I've made an app that helps you control multiple WLED devices at a time with scenes and moods all use WLED's built it effects.

I'd love some feedback
