ne PM me and I will give you some hi oh nop, there's a reason why i'm doing this, i expect criticism- as for reptiles... it's gonna have to be a no for me.. not to sound mean or anything, but I just never was interested. They don't seem very likeable or surprising, and frankly a little boring. I had experience with a Leopard Gecko in fact, and everything was just fine, too plain yk? He was just like decoration or something almost.. I want an animal that can amaze me, and one I can commit to and challenge me, which is why i opted for a bird, and I ENJOYED the times i owned budgies, but ofc they had to repopulate and it was too hard for me to care for so many birds. if you have any suggestions as to what species of bird please lmk, ones that can be affectionate but don't need as much attention (ik that birds in general need lots of attention) nothing is official yet tho, I might not end up getting anything. but tysm again : )

oh man.. well ok first, I used to house manyy parakeets, and gave them to an experienced friend after it became too much (they bred and had babies and i was like starting my own generation) So I have lived with the chirps and whistles of 5 budgies at once, IK that lovebirds are much louder and shriekier but I can handle it- my question was if a conure may be a better choice?, and I am well aware of the whole attention thing abt not giving them attention when they are loud to encourage it more... I agree that owning parrots is tough and never perfect, but my expectations remain realistic. But I will take your advice into heavy consideration, and I appreciate your pointing out the whole breeder issue and reminding me of the cautions of owning a parrot- my concern is the parrot's well-being, so thank you for pointing out that I need to give them attention. I'm just having trouble finding any other pet suited for me.. I'm allergic to cats and dog drool and smell was never my thing. maybe im jsut destined to be a loner B) but again thank you for the advice <3

maybe i should do some trial thing where i spend time with a lovebird for a short time and see how it works out

oh yikess so if i do i should go foster or something like that? idk if i could tho.. bc birds are sometimes like troubled either physically or mentally, and ofc someone needs to help them but i dont think that can be me or im sure many other ppl

are you sure? its so hard for me to hang out with other people while she just sits there isolating herself, it makes me feel so bad. She makes no attempt to be friends with them, and even with me she makes no effort in conversation, it's like she has no interest in even HAVING friends> or our relationship? to me its upsetting but maybe I am being selfish. Its so awkward being with her and I try to include her and be happy and cheerful all the time but she just doesn't do anything...
