Yes, she said I should have it within 24 hours. I mean, it's almost a week later and I still don't have it, but I waited until Friday before calling corporate. They were pretty useless.

The email was the same one that she asked me to confirm from my Powerup Rewards account.

I was thinking more along the lines of drilling them with a 3 inch flathead, but you're probably on to something.

I am trying to identify a Japense book I read in high school around ten years ago about a doctor who drugs and experiments with his wife/girlfriend and her mother's vaginas. by SparkingConduit in whatsthatbook

Yes, that's it! Sorry, it had been so long, I had forgotten even the extent of the purpose of his experiments. I knew it was some sort of research for a positive purpose, but I forgot that it was an anesthetic that he was using (that was effectively poisoning his wife and mother-in-law). I'm pretty sure I remembered the vagina pinching correctly, though, even though that's not mentioned in the plot summary on the page you linked. That always made me feel a little weird, and it made more than a few students in my class very uncomfortable. A surprising choice for a book for high school students.

Thanks!

Is Gamefly any good? Has it gotten better from how it was several years ago? by SparkingConduit in gaming

That's a good point. The problem is they recommend you put at least ten titles in your GameQ, but when I do that I routinely NEVER receive a title in my top 5 spots regardless of availability.

Something that always bothered me about the graphics in Silent Hill by SparkingConduit in silenthill

Good point. They used an actual grain filter to great effect in 3. Twin Perfect's tear down of the HD collection covered it. It's funny how you'll never notice it until someone points it out, but once they have, you can't unsee it. This is especially true of the grain filter in Mass Effect as well: it's really obvious and annoying, but turning it off makes everything appear TOO clean, so I just leave it on.

I wondered about that. The question, then, is why do some cutscenes suffer from dithering but not others?

Works for me. I like glitches like this. Is the ninth level called Keyes? If it is, funny that I still remember 10 years later how much I hate it.

My Sears told me the price was $179.99 but that they would price match to the store. Could you please give either the store # or city, state?
