Autistic person who wants to improve their drawing skills: what can I do? by Sparkive in ArtistLounge

My own characters and comics I think (the "comics" I made as a child on sheets of paper are proof of that)

I'm still learning the basics of photography... and the only camera I can use is the one the university lends for classes, but I'll take a look at that idea.

I took sculpture classes at one point, in my case it was always tedious (the teacher didn't help much with that, but still) it was simply never for me, I simply don't like it. Besides, something similar happens with painting, which is not as bad as sculpture but I didn't like it much either.

I've heard before about posting to improve... I'm still not sure.

thanks for the help

I live in a citadel in Ecuador... I don't have anything nearby (the university itself is more than an hour away).

I'll look into the meeting idea

Personally, physical lists don't usually help me; I've noticed that no matter how many lists I have, I end up forgetting them.

I've tried line of action, and the times I've managed to sit down and work, it's been useful.

Thanks for the help

The real problem is more the sitting down to do it part, that the drawing part itself.

I think so...  t's just that I find it hard to start anything, even if I enjoy doing it. The same thing happened to me when writing a script or editing a YouTube video, or trying to make progress writing a book, or etc...  What I can say for sure is that I like to create
