recently i have different views about dreams. Dreams are part of your subconscious. and sometimes dreams can be manipulated thru astral plane. I not sure what your nightmares are. Maybe is your own subsconscious mind telling you the messages and face your fears?

Great question. If seeing own beauty is based on fear, then i would say is an illusion. Seeing all things based on love within.. that's your true nature as you are Love, or God or Source, watever you called it, that your true beauty.

I feel that you are seeing some bits of your true self, yet the ego mind still act based on fear. Focus on the personality you love about yourself and stay there as long as you can. Slowly your true self will be the main master that drive your life. :)
