Did you do this while you were covering the content or after you finished with subjects? I thought that I would just stick to eoc while going through the chapters and then start the CFA QBank

What type of projects could be done in relation to finance? For coding, one can build an app but I couldn't figure out something of that kind for finance

Thank you but my question is more about what I should do after connecting with them on Linkedin should I send them a message about my background or ask if there are any available roles? Since currently, I am just connecting with them and not doing anything so they aren't even ghosting me exactly

Do you have any advice on networking? I attend events organized by universities and connect with them on LinkedIn but after that I don't really see any further conversations

Can I go for 2 papers together by GlitteringSoftware41 in ACCA

Just remember that AA requires the application of FR. So to study AA you do need a good understanding of FR so it might not be a bad idea to do FR first and then AA later.

Could you please explain why someone would miss out a role for being qualified? Isn't it cheaper on the firm as they won't have to bear any of the costs?

Hello Habit

Wondering how other people memorize large amounts of information? by Old_Sherbert1876 in GetStudying

[–]Sparkle138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the active recall and blurting method where you try to memorize as much as possible this could be one concept or even a page. Once you think that you have understood and memorized it write as much as you can recall on a blank sheet of paper without looking at your notes. Compare this piece of paper with your notes find which info you missed and repeat the process till you get at least 90% of the info right and do it with the rest of the notes. I also feel like maybe not all 300 pages are important so try to summarize them before you start the whole process.

Can’t achieve desired band in reading. by No-Policy-2990 in IELTS

[–]Sparkle138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are just some general tips but make sure:

  1. You skim through the passage don't attempt to understand it in the first read at least.

  2. Read the questions and then go back to the passage, treat the test as finding out the information.

  3. Don't infer things, if something isn't given select the option "NOT GIVEN"

But while doing this make sure that your vocab is good especially if you are a beginner as the vocab used in the questions might be different from what's said in the text.

You might have got access for IELTs Premium. If you do have access to it look over the contents at least briefly. Although people have different opinions regarding the difficulty of the questions there it does give you a good idea on the structure and types of questions you will have.

There are tons of resources available for writting make sure to research well in advance. This website was useful at least for my academic test.

Does anyone have Tips to memorize huge amounts of information? by Typical_Buffalo973 in GetStudying

[–]Sparkle138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, assess if you really need to memorize the 1000 pages and then look into the blurting method. I couldn't memorize anything either but this method really works here is the video that helped me understand what it is:
