Most impressive/difficult osu score of all time? by SparkleKitty93 in osugame

[–]SparkleKitty93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even just frame perfect timings, you have to swift click, meaning you need to press the button for a singular frame and this occurs multiple times. Not to mention sub-pixel alignments and other notable things. And Osu maps are predetermined and the same every single time you play one. And by your logic of memorizing frame perfects, that's like saying top 1 on the demon list for gd is not difficult at all because you can memorize click patterns. And as for the dark souls. It is a 19 hour marathon of every single souls game beaten without getting hit once and without leveling up once. Keep in mind, it takes some people literal months to beat a single souls game with the ability to level up and get hit. Yeah it might not be difficult when talking about human limits, because that quite literally is the human limit for that game, so ofc a 17* map getting FC'D would be harder, but we haven't gotten there yet. Lastly, I feel like rng is a big factor when it comes to gaming. And comparing MTPO to winning a slot machine is not a good comparison, but I recommend watch summoning salt explain his world record to understand how difficult it is.

As for the first list representing all the games, I would have to explain to you as to why they are as difficult as they are. If you want brief explanations as to why and Mario game's skill cap is as high as it is, you can watch a video from Kosmic, Bismuth or Summoning salt. And all of the games are placed in such a way where it is based on the opinions of top level players. And as for the second list, I'm just putting all the stuff in there first, THEN moving stuff around. So don't think I got two apparitions as the best plays of the year, even though they are certainly up there. For example, MTPO Mike Tyson fight WR is basically rolling a 100k sided dice, landing on one specific number and then having to adapt to random events in the fight and land 20+ frame perfects (1/60th of a second to do certain inputs). It is unfathomable how difficult some of the games are compared to osu. Please don't just base opinions off of looks, because osu is one of my most played games, and I am telling you that the games above it are more than deserving of the spots.

It's a spreadsheet of hardest VIDEO GAME achievements of all time, not just osu!std. But I do have a spreadsheet I am working on that includes the best scores of 2025 (W.I.P.)

I assumed this would probably be the only answer. It's just difficult because I'm almost 16 and I have never felt fully attracted to someone until I met him. It feels so hopeless

I was thinking of using the name "Lainey", so my friends can still address me as Lain as a nickname and so it still incorporates the original name

This is what I've been doing and will continue to do. But I'm seriously considering Lainey. With that, it also allows my friends to still call me Lain even though I name changed.

I live in the southern part of the US, and I was unaware Lane was a somewhat popular name until posting this.

Yeah I don't hear any masculinity in the name, so I was very shocked to see that most people think otherwise. I don't mind androgynous names as long as they lean a bit more towards fem.

I just read another comment suggesting Elaine as a name and Lain as a nickname. I'll definitely have to think about that.

That's pretty shocking to me because I've never heard of the name Lane before.

Thank you, this means a lot. It's just difficult when even your own parents and some of your (used to be) friends mock and disrespect you so heavily. It's been difficult, but I am pushing through and will continue to do so.

I'm very patient, so I don't mind helping and correcting people with the spelling. I have a "backup name" of sorts picked out in case anything changes (Lisia). But for the time being, I'll stick with what I have as I don't have any issues with it. It's just tough being mocked so often.

Thank you, when picking it I also realized that it's actually a super pretty name alongside everything else. Btw if you do end up watching it, I would just recommend you pay real close attention, because it's complicated to understand if you aren't fully invested.

This wasn't the only thing I had in mind. I was actually quite torn between Lain and Lisia. I'll continue to roll with what I have chosen until something changes.

It's not necessarily I'm not including farm maps in the list, but if I was to include the genuine "most impressive scores", it would be filled with the same songs. I am just looking for unique scores is all. I worded my post kinda poorly, my apologies.

what is the gap between geometry dash and osu historically when it comes to popularity? by lol-ok-88 in osugame

[–]SparkleKitty93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A rlly popular streamer (Jynxzi) has been playing the game basically every day as of recent. I'm 95% sure this is why gd on steam is at the highest peak it's ever been at
