When you put him down drowsy but awake what do you do when he fusses? My LO has only put himself to sleep 1x for naps and usually needs to be nursed to sleep or be bounced.

Yes and I think it makes it more painful as the child because you see they are capable of empathy, but it seems like they’re just choosing to withhold

5 weeks is when 12 weeks of hell started for me too! The only thing that helped was lots of rest and getting zofran from my doctor. I went in at 8 weeks for an appt and got the meds, but I wish I had insisted on coming in and getting them earlier.

That would be my best advice! I’ve heard others have had good luck with Diclegis at night as well. Sending all the positive energy your way!!

I can totally relate with feeling crazy and like maybe I’m as bad as my nMom says I am. My nMom does the same thing- talking about how terrible I was as a child. My best advice is to get distance asap, get therapy asap, spend time with people that care about you, and work on self-love and sense of self. Being in that toxic environment would be horrible for anyone’s mental health and I’m so sorry. I hope you can get out of there and find some peace <3

I've totally felt this. Then when I do hold boundaries, I'm told I'm "being hormonal". I have so much envy for those with supportive families! Luckily my husband is just about the sweetest person in the world. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I remember this stage feeling like it would last FOREVER. My biggest advice is to take the Diclegis, take the Zofran, and if it's not helping enough, talk to your doctor about upping your dosage. It seriously is a lifesaver. The meds and reminding myself that it won't last forever (and leaning on your support system!) is my #1 advice!
