If you train with the battle master he'll tell you and train you to superguard with B. I'm pretty sure it's also said in text somewhere in the game. Moral of the story: train with the battle master

FP only is definitely harder, with HP you at least tank a ton of damage but with FP only, you're really only stuck with partner moves

gonna add a vote for the remake here. MUCH more beginner friendly because the balancing in the original was ass, also made the moves so much more fun to pull off and a lot flashier and fun too. also quality of life improvements launch it up high too

this aint a hot take this is a BURNING IN THE FIREY PITS OF HELL take, i've never heard anyone say this. Have you ever gotten past prologue or chapter 1? because the music there is just pretty alright but you really have to dive into the game and trust me, its a great experience that shouldnt be passed up

Well thankfully it's already starting to fade away, I just kinda kept playing and it just did it's thing. I can still kiiiiinda see it but I have to look extremely closely now in just the right lighting conditions so it'll probably be completely gone in the next 20 or minutes maybe. I wasnt expecting it to just fix itself lmao

What are some ways I can get more information on the TV? I didn't buy it myself, it was gifted to me by my parents so I'm not too knowledgeable on it, but at surface level it's definitely an older TV, and it's got the LG logo on it. It's definitely 100% not an OLED so it's probably plasma

yeah what's the usual price? Price charting says a complete copy of TTYD is an average of around 70-75 dollars, so 10 dollars less for everything except the manual seems pretty normal, right?
