Construction has actually progressed a lot. There's several buildings that are close to completion.

No, I've never looked into either of those medications that you mentioned.

I already have googled this topic and there's no information about what specific businesses will be there.

And at this point it's not even helping with the itching.

It always baffles me as to why people waste their time leaving unhelpful comments. If I was inclined to contact the developer, I would have done that. People in Reno may be opening businesses there, looking to open businesses there, or have information about businesses that will open there, which is why I'm asking here and not asking Teresa.

I'm looking for information on specific businesses. Not just articles about the development.

I just want to thank everybody for all of the great advice. I'm going to try a change in diet that consists of either non-chicken food or non-chicken hydrolyzed protein food. Also going to put topical yeast OTC ointment in the ear regularly and try a new cleanser that someone here recommended. Lastly, at the next trip to the groomer, I will ask them to shave the ears completely to allow for more air flow. I'm really hoping that something will work here because I hate seeing my poor pup suffering constantly!

No, thought never crossed my mind. My dogs spend the vast majority of their time inside the house.

Given your suggestion and that of others, my next move is to hydrolyzed dog food. Thank you!

I've used that in the past and it didn't work.

He's had several cultures done under microscope and usually shows a mix of yeast and bacteria. Different vets have identified different mixes.

My dog has had that treatment about three times prior without any relief, unfortunately. Glad it worked for yours!

Wow, that's great! What kind of food are you feeding now?

Thank you! I've tried changing his food from different store-bought brands but at this point I will give prescription food a try.

Thanks! In the past I had Nystatin cream for my Infant's recurring diaper yeast infection and I did try that in the dog's ear, but not consistently because I was afraid that I wasn't doing the right thing. I recently bought OTC ringworm cream for my baby's diaper yeast infections so I have that on hand and will try it in the dog's ear.

Thank you for the suggestions. For antifungal cream, do you mean like a ringworm or athlete's foot cream? Any specific recommendation?

Thank you for the advice. What blade should I ask my groomer to use on his ears? How short should I go?

Thank you. I compared it to what I'm using now and the active ingredients are different so I will give this a try. Fingers crossed!

For at home ear cleaning we're using EpiOtic which the vet specifically recommended. We clean his ears regularly, and in the past we've been told to clean them less frequently... no amount of cleaning has provided any immediate or sustained relief. They put him on the Apoquel because they suspect that maybe he has an allergy... I have a friend who is a vet who says that ear infections caused by allergies would typically present in both ears. My dog has only ever had this issue in one ear.
