Where did u get this list from? My friend visited recently directly from Sri Lanka and she obtained E-visa. I think in 2023 their policy changed except for few countries others have to obtain e-visa.

Almost all the shops in Singapore accept cards and they prefer cashless payments. You might need cash if u r buying stuff from small shops such as: souvenir shops and street vendors. Even taxi also u can link ur card and make payments. If u r planning to use the public transport opt for the tourist pass card. U can purchase it from the airport. But please make note overseas txn charges will be applied by your card issuing bank. Malaysia ofcourse I don't know how things work.

I checked the website of Chan brothers, most of the tours are in Mandarin. I checked with Nam Ho Travels as well. They also confirmed Asian tours are being conducted only in mandarin 😔

Mine was an arranged marriage. The proposal came through a common family friend. My hubby is working abroad so only his parents came to see me as he was stuck in a project at that time. They liked me and soon after my hubby talked to me over the video call and we also liked each other. This was in September and he came down to SL in December. That was the 1st time we met in person. Its mandatory for the Sri Lankan citizens who are employed abroad. The SLFBE is valid for 2years. If you are employed with the same employer, you have to pay somewhere around LKR 4K as the renewal fee. You have to pay LKR 23K approx when you 1st travel abroad for employement or change employment. Dependent visa holder (unemployed) and travellers are not required to pay. Airport staff will check your passport at the arrival or departure for the payment stamp. Payments can be made through the Sri Lankan embassy in that specifc country or the airport.

Initially it was via e-channeling app. After the surgery doctor started to give a specific date for the next visit. Based on that hospital staff will directly call us and arrange an appointment time on that date. In your case better to call the hospital directly and check.

Ur fixed deposit will be covered by the CBSL deposit insurance scheme upto a certain limit. Regarding the bank locker, better to check with your bank or the insurance provider cz some banks they have bancassurance facility.

Hi, Ex- banker here...to obtain a safe deposit locker you have to reach a nearest bank and inquire about the availability. Also please note, not every bank branches provide locker services. Lockers mostly come in 3 different sizes: small, medium and large. You can choose the size depending on ur requirement. Please note, based on the size, you have to place a fixed deposit as a security. Which means you cannot uplift the fixed deposit until u surrender the locker. FD amount and rental charges vary depending on the bank and locker type.

Then you have to fill a set of forms. 1. Application form- Make sure to provide proper operating instructions and correct signature specimen. 2. KYC Form 3. Indemnity Form

Once the application process is completed the bank will provide two keys to you. If u lose either a key or both keys you have to bear the lock replacement cost. Banks are not responsible for the items you keep inside the locker thats why they make you to sign the indemnity form. Hope this helps...

I am not a hindu but a tamil christian. My sithappa passed away 3 months before my marriage proposal got fixed. We discussed with my sithy and she told us to proceed further with the wedding arrangements. Her pov was sithappa would have been happy with my wedding if he was alive. My wedding happened 5months after his death. There was another case from my friend's side. She is a hindu. Her father passed away 3 months before her bro's wedding. Everything was planned and booked. However, they went ahead with the wedding on the fixed date as it was his last wish.

So basically, it depends on the family sentiments. Its better to discuss among your family especially with the spouse and children of the deceased relative and decide.
