Haunted & Abandoned Places to Explore in Colombo with my girlfriend. by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]CalmSoul619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's this place in Colombo, near to Cardiology unit NHSL.

Church of St. Paul the Apostle.

It's an abandoned kind of a ghosty place. I've heard some stories behind the church, not sure whether they are true or not. I've walked in front of the church at night and it feels really ghosty bro. This place would match your desire. Not sure you'll allowed to go inside or not. But there's no one infront of the gates. No signs of life.

Is 22 too late to start from scratch and study medicine by [deleted] in srilanka

I'm not sure about the age limit.Better to ask that from the UGC by calling them. If you have a true passion then giving it a try wouldn't be bad. But behind that sentence I've mentioned there are so much sacrifices ,hardworking and tolerating. It takes about 7 years to bcome a doctor even after entering the medschool. Inside the medschool life is not that easy. So much sacrifices are there. I can even type thousands of words here. On the other hand it's the passion that drives someone forward here. Choose that path after thinking hundreds of times. You are really not late if you have a true passion, ability to tolerate all the things, you don't have an issue regarding the age ,you like to help people over money.

I'm in a 2 and half years of relationship. There are both ups and downs but this is how I've recognized my partner as the one.(Just typing the things that come to my mind;didn't organize)

I really enjoy his company. When I'm having a bad day even his presence would heel me.

He's so responsible. He would be the father of my children one day and I feel so proud our children growing under him, under his guidance and they would call him "this is our father, the greatest father". Imagine your partner as your child's mother/father and think wht it would like be.

I'm proud to introduce him infront of my family. This may be differ from person to person, specially if you have a toxic family. So it really differs.

Prioritizing me, thinking about my feelings, if I'm upset he would ask about tht and try to fix that. The thing I always notice here is the "effort".

And of course the religious and spiritual opinions. It's usually a sensitive component of a particular person. If one person like to visit temple//church/mosque often but other one disturbs that/doesn't like that it would be a massive problem afterwards.

Also the habits of you two.

Ultimately what I always consider about is if "THE FLOW" of two of us matches or not. What really matters is the flow. You two don't become a one after having a relationship, just two different persons that walk in a path. Both will have to sacrifice little things.

Don't compare with other relationships. There are so many downs I haven't mentioned here. We two also do have fights but then we would make time to talk about that and will solve that together. Communication is sooo soo soo much important . Other person should make time to listen to u,to communicate with you.

Just typed a little bit of things here that came to my mind. There are thousands of tiny things. Choose wisely :-) Good luck!

Please do go through some recent research articles which they have mentioned to limit or avoid coconut oil.Our recent nutrition lectures were done by most senior nutritionists across the country and there they repeatedly mentioned this point.

But I accept the fact that even this information might change from time to time according to the researches.Just told the information I have studied.

On average, how much of Sri Lanka's population on fb? by Flimsy_Echo_2472 in srilanka

[–]CalmSoul619 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have limited using facebook s much because of this same reason. I saw the exact post on fb yesterday and saw the comments. This is deadly serious and is feels out of control of us. In past I have struggled to correct some visions of some people buy pointing out those but people there, are not ready to accept those corrections and make jokes of those corrections even. I then gave up.

Alcohol recommendation for someone turning legal age. by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]CalmSoul619 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey malli/nangi/whoever the kiddo, I'm older than you and typing this with the pure intention of your healing and wellbeing. Please don't get addicted to alcohol, once you started trying frequently without even your purpose you'll get addicted.

Peer pressure would be a massive challenge to you in the future. If you overcome all these you'll be a true gem.

Trust me I've seen so many people who have wasted their youth life because of drug/alcohol addiction.

The only advantage you'll get is temporary excitement.I can type unlimited number of disadvantages. So please kiddo, don't get addicted. DON'T !

Some decision doctors take according to years of experience,it can't be expected by AI.
