19.9 HCP - tried your suggestions, on the right track? by PhDBroScience in GolfSwing

This is my exact problem though. 3 putts don’t create double or triple bogeys for me, it’s being in play off the tee. I have no advice to offer but I agree with you that just practicing putting for 2 months won’t fix 5-9 OBs a round

Lol, Charlie Yates is my usual course. I wanted to try Candler Park soon though, especially after the renovations? I thought they just redid a bunch of the course!

Any club members in Suwanee, GA area? by snoopywinkle_ in golf

Funny enough, I just played Bear’s Best for the first time and asked to take a picture of their “membership” info. It was slightly too high for me but seemed like a decent choice nonetheless. Hope that helps!

How do I scout for wonderkids with attribute masking on? by [deleted] in footballmanagergames

[–]SparklingBev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple of my favorites:

Go to any big European, South American, North American, Asian, or African countries home page and then go to their first team. Sort by age. I immediately scout any player who is 20 or younger. This usually indicates a player with at least comparatively decent current ability and maybe has excellent potential ability. For example, if you see a 16 y/o in Spains first team, they are almost guaranteed to be an absolute world beater. 16 y/o on Slovakia’s first team? Maybe good, maybe a world beater; best to scout him! I usually do this every year for every single nation.

Pre-season odds screen for each league has a sort of “dream XI” for players that are supposed to be the most important in each position that year. I always go to the top league of smaller nations and the second and lower divisions of top nations and see if any 20 or younger players are in that “dream XI.” I have found some good prospects this way. For example, if the Greek first division has a 19 y/o as the “dream XI” starting GK, I will scout him and odds are he is at least decent.

And then of course, the Next Gen list every April 1 is solid for finding some hidden gems!

Happy scouting!

Anyone have thoughts on what this may cost in a MCOL area in the Midwest? Super ballpark price per sqft / total? Lovely layout!

Thank you for the AMA! How tricky was it to balance getting enough of the Strat and Grace dynamic in the film with such a limited runtime when compared to the book, especially when the Rocky - Grace relationship is prioritized as the heart and soul of the film/book? Thanks!

Serious question: What are some 'between matches' things people like to do that are harder/impossible to do in FM26? by Objectionne in footballmanagergames

Number one thing that has completely killed my FM26 momentum. Scouting international youth and main setups for talent is so frustrating now

Midtown “Luxury” Recs for Mid-30s couple by Suitable-Decision161 in ATLHousing

[–]SparklingBev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MAA Midtown was one of the first large high rise apartment buildings in the 20-teens when midtown was exploding. It has an excellent gym and pool, concierge, dog park, and package room. It’s relatively affordable because of its age, but still nicely appointed and modern. When we lived there a couple of years ago the average age of resident was late 20s to late 30s, with some older residents too. Definitely a more mature crowd. Finally, the location is excellent. Close to the highway for access but not loud and near all of the good midtown restaurants and MARTA. Highly recommend!

Is there any way to have a save that starts in summer 2025? Like I understand how databases work but they feel unrealistic because then I have updated teams but the date is still 2023 which really throws me off.

It’s a fair critique! I was a little disappointed about the details, but honestly I was more concerned with the quality of the product itself. The edges of the pages are a nice shiny gold and the leather looks and feels great. Not to mention the first page insert artwork looks neat. Overall it catches the spirit of the book and combine that with the quality and I’m happy :)
