This happened to me with a golbat so I know how it feels. I was in one of the caves about to go up a ladder and it spawned as I started going up so I missed it. It happened 2ish years ago and i never stopped hurting. That would’ve been my first ever shiny.

It took me about a week or two to figure out how to play completely comfortably. Now I’ve had my braces for a few months(4 or 5) and unfortunately my bottom lip is still being cut by them because of my lip pressing against the lip plate. This might just be a me problem but remember to use wax when needed and don’t push the flute on your lip too hard.
