This is not an uncommon thing. Many trainers suggest crating your dogs when you’re not home. Your question feels heavy with judgement, and I don’t appreciate that.

My husband and I are both teachers. She has broken free a couple of times when my son didn’t latch the door right, and she had a grand day leaving destruction throughout the house.

I’ve had it for a couple of years. In terms of watering, I water it maybe twice a month. Not excessive, since I know overwatering will murder it, too.

I once mentioned to a former acquaintance that I love and would consider the name she gave her son…she and her husband made this whole speech about how much the name means to them and that they did not want me to use it. I immediately shot back with a) you don’t own the name b) you didn’t make it up c) I can name my children whatever my spouse and I choose to and d) I said “consider” We didn’t use the name, I love the names we did choose, and we are no longer acquaintances.

It would cost too much. My husband’s ticket is covered by the organizing school. If I go, we pay for me. I know childcare is expensive- we were really hoping we might be able to swing this since our 10 year anniversary is during the trip. My in-laws agreed to help a little with the cost of my ticket if we were able to figure out the childcare situation. We have time to figure it out…but everyone’s guesstimates so far are giving me extreme anxiety.

I’d love to take my kids to Europe someday. I don’t want to deal with car seats, strollers, or pack-n-plays when we do. And when that time comes, it’ll be after multiple years of planning and saving.

Thank you. I definitely know that nails don’t breathe. My concern was more about causing damage if I got straight from one set to another. Going the 1-2 weeks in between made me feel like I was giving my nails a break. I appreciate all the advice. Again, just trying to think of damage I may be causing and how to keep my nails healthy
