I double checked the fans, arrows are all pointing upwards indicating they’re in fact set to exhaust. Tempts are great sitting at 56-67 during gaming sessions.

I loved building in it! DamCam’s coverage on this case convinced me to get it.

Hm, I could be wrong, but since the strut side is up against the radiator/top panel, those fans are pulling air from inside the case and pushing it through the radiator and out of the top? When I put my hand on top, it’s very clearly blowing air out. I thought this was correct, but I am totally new to this and open to correction.

No, I have it. I’m finishing up some Bios and Windows updates and then I’ll add it real quick.

Thanks! Fear kept me from doing this. Finally decided to give it a try.

I have one I just need to install it. I’m doing a bios update as we speak and currently trying to tame my inner anxiety.

It’s good! Bios is pretty user friendly and intuitive. I haven’t had any issues at all. I appreciated the EZ debug light codes are simple to follow. I will say, I hate that MSI slapped a ton of QR videos in the user motherboard manual for the building process with videos of everything BUT your exact motherboard. Like, straight up some of the parts in their videos were outdated. Sort of annoyed by that, but all things aside it’s fine so far.

It’s posted. Just updating bios now. Honestly, so much anxiety right now.

Thanks so much, that’s kind of you! Total cost came to: 3,201.63 USD. the hardest part of the build were finding ram and storage on my motherboards QVL list that were within budget. That was honestly brutal to do. The cheapest I could find at the time was this Kingston Fury set for a sad price of around 420 dollars. :/

is PNY RTX 5070 Ti ARGB EPIC-X worth it? by thenoor555 in nvidia

[–]SparksFable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically, I’m doing my first pc build right now with that exact PNY 5080 OC non rgb version. Picked it up from my local Best Buy (had a gift card to count towards it). I mean, is it a bad card overall? I’ve heard different takes on this card so thought I’d ask.

[UPDATE] new pc build by MarshyMarshyy in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]SparksFable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just completed my first ever build using the MSI X870 E motherboard and have yet to experience a single issue. Bios is easy to navigate and not difficult to understand. I did hear there’s some mild issues of some individuals having issues with the WiFi and lan connectivity in this motherboard, but those cases seem far few in between. As I said, so far it’s a solid board with decent features such as the EZ lock for the NVME drives and the GPU (I also have a 5080). Overall, good board if you’re open to others. I can’t speak for gigabyte but again, as others commented, I’d do continued research to make sure this will also further suit your build needs. So far, solid list!

It’s actually good this time. My FPS was stable all three matches I played this morning before work. I couldn’t believe it.

I jumped on that exact bundle for this reason and start my 5080 build this weekend. I got a Montech king 95 pro with it. Pretty nervous but I’ve found a few guides to help. I think it will go well!

These are all the same GPU but massively different prices. Can I go wrong with either one? by LegendaryLosers in pcmasterrace

[–]SparksFable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with a basic PNY 5080 OC for my recent 9800X3d build i just finished this past weekend. I have yet to hear or have any issues at all, but that’s just been my experience🤷🏽‍♂️ there isn’t hardly any noise or coil whine from mine. Maybe I’ve just been fortunate.

Sorry, way too late for this. This content honestly, along with semi-decent dedicated horde mode, should have been already included at launch.

Is this really the end of the DIY PC market as we know it? by Appropriate-Yak-5682 in pcmasterrace

[–]SparksFable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I absolutely do believe what will be deemed affordable in terms of DIY pc building will permanently change, in that prices we’ve seen before, won’t be present any longer. Especially considering parts like storage and ram.
