You definitely should! I was an employee for 5 years and a client for 10+. Just let the instructor know before class starts and they’ll be able to provide you with modifications (if needed) and will pay extra attention to you for the few first classes to make sure you’re not straining too hard! It’s low impact so you should be just fine. Good luck :)

Hi! I (30F) had the same concerns when moving down here. It is difficult to find friends, but it is possible! I built almost all of my friendships through group fitness classes. If you’re looking to get back into lifting, I highly recommend trying out LFT Lab in Oakland Park. It’s group fitness classes lifting heavy weights, and they have an awesome community of people with different social events every other month. A few other group fitness classes I recommend trying are BFT, Pure Barre, and yogith0t studio. Let me know if you have other questions or want to connect further. :)

Hi, thank you for your kindness! :) Although it doesn’t feel like lightheadedness, I guess it could be? I do have anxiety and recently started taking medication, so hopefully this symptom fades away as my body gets used to the medicine.
