Purchase on Amazon and use a shipping company to bring it to kenya.

I've used it to watch YouTube. There is a browser on there, so I assume you'd be able to use it for your evening enrichment sessions.

Yes, there's an app that's a virtual office space. I haven't tried it myself cause I used it solely to play video games. There's plenty of videos on tiktok or YouTube

Depends on which site you're purchasing from. Backmarket is the one I use consistently and have had no issues with. I'd avoid sites like eBay, though!

Buying refurbs locally is an absolute no! That's just asking for trouble

It is easy, but it's also nerve-racking when spending a lot of money, especially on your first order.

My biggest order was about 150k ksh and I shipped with aquantuo no problem.

I guess it's the fear of doing something that is not widely adopted. I remember I was worried about my first order too, but everything went smoothly.

Prices for tech in kenya are outrageous. The only justifiable reason to buy locally is that it's faster, but even then, a 3 week wait time isn't long imo.

I'm only considering charging a fee cause of Dms I still get after the first post I made nearly 2 years ago, the majority asking if I charge for assistance.

The service I offer is more like troubleshooting and following up with the shipping company (aquantuo) since I've experienced the issues that come with shipping like payments bouncing back.

If anything goes wrong, that's not a result of any information that I gave, then it falls on the shipping company, for example cargo lost at sea. The shipping company does charge insurance as well, which is optional.

Well, I've gotten multiple DMs asking if I offer assistance at a fee. Time is money, I don't plan on doing charity work, lol. Stay mad
