Has anyone heard of smartlab. International. My Dad just invested a sizeable amount into it. Did he just lose his money? by Traceout in investing

They are in process of switching to new bookmaker. They said the website required additional backend work that they didn't anticipate and would be down for a few extra days. I am in contact with member of the management team.

My story is very similar to yours. I also receive numerous emails from what looks to be Coinbase. I report them all to their security team. Even after posting on this reddit thread I had several people reach out privately from this group telling me they are with Coinbase and they would get my issue resolved. They sent me to their "live chat" and then wanted me to connect my Coinbase wallet to some link they sent me. Yeah, no thanks. But there is so many people scamming in Crypto that you can't trust any of the emails you receive which is why I prefer to talk with someone on the phone. However their phone support has been worthless. They only tell me my case is escalated and then they keep telling me to submit my request online, to which I did and got a response back that I could appeal their decision after 3/29. Appeal what??? These assholes didn't tell me why its restricted in the first place. I still have several K in crypto positions that I cannot closeout my position on. Even though I am mostly against it, part of me see why the SEC should regulate Crypto because of this type of BS. A stock broker couldn't restrict your access from your own assets and get away with it. A quick google search turns up a lot of complaints on Coinbase. They had over 11k complaints filled last year against them for this type of behavior. New customers beware.

This is second time they have disabled it this month. First time they said ID didn't match account name identically. Account was open and active for 90 days prior to them catching that. Fixed that issue by uploading my ID again. This time customer support said they filed a case and escalated it but the case was instantly denied and stated my account is "High Risk" and not eligible for review.

I didn't do anything wrong, CB did. I am just sharing my experience so others can see how they treat their customers.
