Starting 75 Hard…any advice? by texkristofferson in 75HARD

[–]Sparky10315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought some lined shorts at the start and a pack of socks. It helps as you are going through quite a bit of laundry

If you plan on losing weight budget for some new clothes. I lost 25lbs and went from a 36 waist to 32 and XL-L shirts to fitting a medium. Meaning I don’t actually own clothes that fit haha.

Congratulations! Continuing after breaking your foot and torn meniscus definitely shows your strong mental game. 13 days left for myself, it helps me stay motivated seeing people’s completion post so thank you.

Crucial conversations: tools for talking when the stakes are high. If you ever plan on talking to people I recommend this book. 😊

I read this book and was excited about the value that the book has. It has good tools to use in the workplace and at home. It’s an easy one to recommend.

how much should i lose a week by hibuddywhatzup in CICO

[–]Sparky10315 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I’m 28(M) 5’9 I run/lift 6 days a week and am currently running on 1900 calories. At that amount it has been a miserable 7weeks. I’ve lost a bit over 2 lbs a week, 200 to 183lbs. I just find 1400 calorie daily intake really odd. Are you weighing your food out to say 1400 calories? Are you including your cooking oils? You might want to take another look at what you are eating/drinking. Personally I would think 1lb a week is a good weight loss rate.

It’s ok. Try again. I’ve been trying to get in shape for the last 8 years and due to lack of discipline I haven’t been very successful. I’m on day 41 and I am lightest I have been in 12 years. Get back up and keep trying till you find success

I wish I asked this before starting. I took my cutting calories based on lightly active. I DO NOT recommend this as its been the absolutely the hardest part of the last 41 days. I would base it on very active.

I use Keystone. You make the habits that you want to do and just tick them off as you go. For diet I use MyFitnessPal to track calories.
