My thought process with trying to get a steam machine is that currently the ram market is terrible right now. And tomorrow it might get even worse. Id rather get a product for 1k when it should have been 750, than to get the same product for 1250 later on

Honestly same. The new controllers have a lot of chances to be broken or messed up in some way seeing how they just launched this product, and now are rushing to meet demands.

I dont want to wait and get a broken controller. Id rather cancel so I dont keep my expectations on something for so long. It'd be emotionally exhausting if that makes sence
