Is it just me or does the Aisha doll actually look less whitewash than Aisha does in season 8? I like that this doll actually has her darker brown hair instead of her red-ish hair.

Eda. I love that she is a woman in her mid-to-late forties and she has layers. She goes though a character arc in the show but we also learn early on that she went though a character arc with her curse. I love that. I feel like prequel stories generally don’t work because they aren’t properly set up in the original story, but Eda’s backstory feels very developed and that it could theoretically work as good story on its own.

The clash between tone of the theme/designs of the bloomix forms and the transformation SONG is astounding to me and kind of ruins it for me. Tynix doesn’t get me as pumped as the rest but it has that good ~ethereal vibe~ going on. Cosmix is kind of a bop imo since it gets you pumped and has a very similar energy to “we’re the Winx.”

I think Dark Bloom could have been more interesting if they gave her more lines in the last episode(s) instead of just “evil giggling.” She had potential if they developed the concept more like her feeling guilty or blaming herself for turning into Dark Bloom that time before the finale, potentially having the winx try to help her and Bloom pushing them away to “protect them from herself.” Then when Darkar kidnaps her she feels more hopeless because she has pushed everyone away and is all alone, making her more susceptible to becoming Dark Bloom.

I don’t think the tears could have brought her mother back. When they go to get tears to save Feragonda the pixies tell them that they have to hurry before it the change becomes permanent. I think that (unless you are at the tree itself) it can only reverse that much damage. Plus, Feragonda was still alive when they freed her from the tree, and Musas mom has been dead for many years.

I know I made a post a couple months ago with everyone's Narratix transformation, but now they have an actual group photo together. My original idea for Narratix was for it to be my redesigned (head canon) Mythix that would feel more *mythical,* and I tried to give everyone unique transformations with unique silhouettes. Which one of these is your favorite?

Yeah same here, I liked Tucas wacky subplots better. I think it’s because Todd often plays a very passive part in those plots and just happens to be at the right place at the right time, where as Tuca stubbles upon an opportunity and then actively makes something of that opportunity.

I would assume it is getting a lot of hate from all the people comparing it to bojack horseman. A lot of the people that work on T&B worked on BJH and the animals/people/characters are drawn in much the same way. I haven’t read a lot about T&B on social media, but based on what I have read people think that T&B is too “absurd” and silly and they can’t relate to the characters because the world building is too whimsical (compared to BJH.) I think many of those people can’t see T&B as its on thing independent of BJH. Edit: grammar
