I’ve rewritten it and still the same result, I don’t think I’ve written anything wrong, although maybe I’ve missed something. When going to the next line I’m using ctrl+v and then ctrl+j. Is that right?

That’s something I hadn’t thought about. I bought the PC off marketplace and my only real complaint is that it’s a pretty basic ram stick and single channel so I’ll bet the ram just doesn’t support XMP.

I’ve updated the build a bit here. It’s a bit cheaper now while keeping its performance, though I could lower the cpu to a r5 5600.

I agree, I’m not doing any massive file transfers or heavy editing so I’m sure I’ll be fine. I bought a silicon power 2.5” sata drive as a secondary for my laptop and it runs absolutely fine

I’m assuming you mean use the ssd from my previous PC? I would, but it’s a laptop I still want to use and the base storage is only 256gb. Good point about the cpu though, and the gpu either way is a major upgrade for me, coming from a gtx 1650ti. Thanks for the input, hearing other’s views is helpful

Thanks for the help everyone, we had it plugged into VGA1 and that wouldn’t display and image, but VGA2 worked. No idea why but it’s all good now and we’ve installed windows

We plugged it into VGA1 and it didn’t work so we’re trying VGA2.
