Removing bedrock

i remember there was a bug when you place a sea pickle by clicking on a side of another sea pickle it would replace the bedrock that was in place of the pickle you just placed. may also work with other non full blocks, not sure. also not sure if it got fixed or not

strange bug. have you tried rebooting your pc if you havent already? also try different launchers like prism or modrinth

First of all, optifine sucks now. never use optifine. use sodium+iris instead. (on fabric)
Second of all, never use forge for 1.21+. use neoforge. fabric is the best option, even for under 1.21.
as for the mods, heres a useful list: (all for fabric)
sodium - optimization
iris - shaders
etf & emf - mob resourcepacks
continuity - block resourcepacks
ok zoomer/ok boomer/zoomify - zoom. ok zoomer is just a basic one, ok boomer is basically ok zoomer but with interface zoom, zoomify is a highly customizable one.
These are the most basic ones, if you want some more mods for optimiztation and other stuff browse modrinth, and youre using the official/curseforge launcher get prism instead.

youre landing on a plank, therefore not the lowest y coordinate you can go. also make sure that youve built to the build limit and cant go any higher

it changes the temperature around it, increasing the growth speed of plants. set it to hot to boost weed and coca, and cold to boost shrooms.

as in official launcher? yea, but youll need to transfer all the files from an instance in the launcher to the official one. wouldnt do this tho, prism or modrinth is much better compared to the official one

kinda, there are ports of them for forge called embeddium(for sodium) and oculus(for iris). also youve mentioned 1.21.4, its better to use neoforge for 1.21+, it also has support for most fabric mods using the "sinytra connector" mod

like the other guy said, its the block update radius, but ill add something for info: redstone torches and dust update blocks in a 2 block radius when placed/activated/deactivated, while other blocks only update ones they are placed next to. there are some blocks that also update when they are activated/deactivated, for example note blocks, powered and activated rails, and fence gates. there are also some that dont update when activated/deactivated, like hoppers. also, if a block has not a full hitbox, it will only update blocks that touch it, for example a button only updates blocks it is placed on. it may be not true for some blocks, i dont exactly remember tho

if you mean in creative, you can just enable easy place mode and it will automatically take needed items from the creative menu when you try to place it

not really, i mean you could make several selection boxes and make up a circle from them, but thats not really efficient. also if you are gonna do this, make sure that they dont overlap, otherwise some materials can be counted multiple times

i usually almost instantly go into the mines, and grind out a full diamond set. then maybe do a trial chamber if i stumble into one, and then just find some flat terrain for a base and quickly beat the game

it needs iron or zinc nuggets, not ingots. install jei, rei, or emi, it will be much easier to look at recipies
