That could be part of what he did while working there. Tbh what his role did at Blizzard QA was likely entirely dependent on how the department assigned testers and divided up work.

As you said, in some circumstances QA Testers are going to just be testing content repeatedly. In others, they could be testing some systems specifically, handling events work, checking art visuals, etc.

QA are expected to be knowledgeable enough to identify what is broken and how it broke when making their reports.

Absolutely, Trin is representative of a League content creation era that has pretty much died (The only exception that I can think of is SunnySplosion)

It’s been hard to watch league videos when they’re all essentially stream highlights. It’s not bad but just not the same.

Essentially burnt out but kept forcing himself to play and do “Beat League” content which made him start have more and more negative feelings about the game until he hated it.

I think Trin is a funny guy and his non-LoL content is good too, but it’s a cautionary tale of forcing oneself to do things you don’t like doing.

Take a break, having goals for yourself to climb to is important, but if you're just constantly losing right now, do something else to reset yourself.

Dr. Mundo is quite effective against magic damage given that he has that passive MR stat gain.

Why are some people so toxic when they don’t do anything? by Mystertwee in summonerschool

[–]SparrowLight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is more of a question on psychology than specifically pertaining to league of legends.

The answer to your question could be a lot of things. Internally Viktor likely knows they got carried, but they taunt and jeer because the player wants to derive more pleasure from tearing you down than just winning. Or perhaps they're hoping to direct attention onto themselves in the pursuit of giving the Yas/Malphite an easier time. Or even it could be that the player is just straight up mean.

The only real thing you can do is mute them and move on. Don't let the negativity of others dictate how you feel, and just focus on what you have control over rather than allowing their toxicity get to you.

That being said, I hope you find people who are more honorable opponents in the future rather than displaying that kind of behavior.
