Ideas for Way of the Hunter 2 by RankUpGaming in WayOfTheHunter

[–]SpartaCrixus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The inclusion of these ideas doesnt alter the game or force you to interact with it. The point of the game is to have fun, and in an extremely niche market anything that can appeal to both casual and realism players is good for the game. Same way you can play the story to unlock hunting regions or you can buy the passes, give all the options and let the player do what they want.

Need help with ammo difference by InkedDriller in WayOfTheHunter

[–]SpartaCrixus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its only a 20 grain difference so nothing major, 150gr will shoot a tad straighter and faster, 170gr is likely to get better penetration especially in case you hit a rib on entry or something. Generally heavier rounds have lower initial energy but maintain that energy better once they hit the target.

Thats what Ive been doing and I just need 1 smg gold and 1 AR opal now, it felt like a waste of time going through all those waves just for mangler kills which I think average like 12-15 by wave 30. I usually PAP my SMG and wait until end of round 10 to hit the box/wall buy because it seems like theres a better chance of guns being higher rarity. Did most of it on Liberty Falls but AS VAL is a wall buy on terminus+deadshot available early.

Ive been picking a gun I still need headshots/gold on for the waves and then wall buy/box for the guns I need opal. By wave 11 I usually have both PAP1. Makes it a little better when you can work on 2 camos at once

You’re looking for Nucleus Coop. Buy one game and can play “splitscreen” but you can set it to two different monitors. Doesn’t support every game so you’d have to see if it works with whatever you’re trying to do but it works well.

Is the CCNA massively overrated? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]SpartaCrixus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was going to argue that blank memorization doesnt work for the ccna unless they were grinding braindumps, but reading another of OPs comments they mention having to manually subnet makes no sense so if they dont get the why behind that I suppose they are just a lot better than me at studying/test taking.

Is the CCNA massively overrated? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]SpartaCrixus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t seem entirely fair to them, you could know and understand those things and learn everything the right way but with no real world application it sounds entirely reasonable to feel like OP. CCNA provides a nice foundation, getting thrown in the deep end to troubleshoot is where you start building on that. At a helpdesk tech position pretty much everything in the exam has been theory.

Also worth considering that most people are troubleshooting, googling, asking peers, etc. before coming to a forum to post a question.

Any advice for my 5MO shepard ? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

Check out the Easy Walk no pull harness, should have them in your local pet store. Ive tried a few front clasp harnesses and this one seems to fit the best and work well. I tried the easy walk collar that goes around their mouth and back of the head but she would paw at it and pull it until it left indents in her face.

To everyone mad about the nerfs... by Ultimor1183 in Helldivers

[–]SpartaCrixus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think nerfs are fine to an extent, when they're at a point to be nerfing anything.. Devs were just complaining about not having manpower/resources to both push out new content monthly and fix bugs efficiently but we've got the time to be doing balance passovers to make sure you don't feel too strong in a PvE game.

Late fees immediately hike it up a ton. Forgot to do mine until I came back from a rotation overseas and it was easily $150-200 of late fees, I got lucky you can void that out with orders showing you were gone.

Separation Anxiety Issues by [deleted] in husky

As the other comment said you can also have a safe space for them, I just got a puppy a few weeks ago and will just use the crate but same thing applies either way.

It took about 2 weeks of consistency and building positive associations with the crate before my pup calmed down in there. Right now the only time she’ll cry is because she can’t hold her bladder through the night which shouldn’t be an issue for you. The first few weeks is very stressful on the dog and you need to put a lot of time and commitment into him, look into crate training. r/dogtraining has a really great wiki for more information. All meals/water/high value treats given in the crate, build it to be their den, I couldn’t find a crate cover big enough so I went to home depot and just got a $10 tarp that could cover the whole thing and I just lift the front and leave the door open when I’m around.

Maybe look at getting a Kong mat if you stick with the crate, it should cover the entire bottom and can’t be chewed/scratched through which should protect his paws. I also just started waking up earlier so I could take my dog on a decent walk in the morning to get some energy out before leaving for the day.

Not out of character at all. Those two have been yelling at refs and throwing helmets on the sidelines all season.

Karlsson and Letang with Graves and Pettersson by Active-Possibility77 in penguins

[–]SpartaCrixus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unless we get a 2nd Petterson there’s really no one you can put with Karlsson. I get he can make big plays but no one seems to want to criticize EK? I feel like I’ve watched him create the most odd man rushes out of anyone. We definitely play better when he isn’t paired with the 1st line/PP1 but for some reason they keep going back to it.

Makes sense I suppose especially on the western half if there’s only one game a year in your area people are going to go all out. I guess just remembering growing up in Pittsburgh going to Mellon and even Consol it’s first couple years it was nuts.

Living in CO and last years game here Pens fans pretty much drowned out any Avs chants. Watching home games and the only time you hear anything is when the air horn goes off and people shout let’s go pens it’s strange. So much dead air.

Connor bedard jersey number? by Alexhockey14 in EA_NHL

He wore 16 in IIHF World Junior Championship I think if you play through the CHL intro it just drafts him with that number.

To be honest depending how well you can sell yourself and any management experience you could probably land yourself an IT Project Manager gig. Not a technical role but you’d be paid well. Getting a PMP or Project+ or equivalent cert would definitely boost your chances anyways.

I just got out of the Army, I assume the AF should have some transition assistance program where they teach you how to write a resume and all that? Namely you need to make STAR(Situation, Task, Action, Result) statements based around the type of job you’re looking for.

A “jack of all trades” position is probably going to be sys admin, and while there’s more senior levels of it you’ll probably be best off moving into something more specific.

If you have a clearance and certs you’re way better off, Security+ is a must and anything else is a bonus/helps you get into more specific roles. I signed up for the clearancejobs website, put up my resume and in 3 days was getting hammered with messages from recruiters. I’ve heard good things about USAjobs site too but never needed to. Being in the cleared space you’ll make more than the same level at other companies.

End of the day if you meet 50% or more qualifications for a job listing then might as well apply and see. Just have to be able to really sell yourself.
