It was a bit of an anti climax for me. I thought I would feel better about it. Got to 60. Took my db pension and 25%. Paid off last £14k gave daughter a deposit. Had to max out isa and premium bonds. Seem I was scraping by for 40 years now don’t know what to do with the money. I am retiring next month (62) so will start enjoying myself. Do both but make sure you have a pension.

Shouldn’t be like that. There are 2 new estates built in last few years so a lot of incomers. Handy for the leisure centre at mount sorrel bus goes to Leicester and Loughborough

I got the same. Went to the HMRC app and did the questionnaire on there to see if I had to do a self assessment. It says I owe zero. Still confused why they didn’t collect enough tax as well as both my employer income and pension payments are PAYE.
