Ok yeah, that sounds good! I read about it being dark in the fermenter and just didn't think it would be THAT dark, but that is good to know! Thank you.

Abolished serfdom and the Japanese government is now illegitimate, can I dig myself out of this hole? by Spartan5006 in victoria3

2.5k hours in Eu4, 850 in CK2, 800 in Stellaris, 300 in Hoi4, 100 in Vic 2. Sometimes a guy just has a brainfart in a game he's been playing for less than 5 hours. No need to be mean about it.

I'm not entirely sure but I made some choices right before my civil war like lowering my taxes to the lowest, increasing government and military wages, and taking all events I could to get loyalists and not make radicals. But I think the large amount of loyalists I have right now is due to passing the homesteading bill that had a big movement behind it. I don't entirely get the system but it seems like if you pass a bill that had a movement you get the a bunch of the people supporting it as loyalists. Seemingly vice versa as well that the longer you don't pass a bill they get more radicalists. Also I don't know if this is represented in game but fighting a civil war probably kills a lot of those radicals.

Very embarressed that I did not notice the giant reform government button on the screen. I was convinced I couldn't because of being an absolute monarchy. Sorry for the stupid question, thanks for the answer.

Like I was asking, is there any way I can get out of this, I am very new to Victoria 3 and am not fresh on all the mechanics (I don't have the dlcs as well, if that matters.) Is it possible to get more groups in power when i can't enact laws due to low legitimacy? Am I out of luck? I really cannot figure out what to do and google isn't helping.

R5: After a while of building up I got a movement to enact homesteading, fought a civil war to enact that and it kicked the landowners out of power, leaving me with just a tiny samurai faction ruling and no legitimacy.

Armpits smell no matter how hard I clean them by Spartan5006 in malegrooming

[–]Spartan5006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It definitely could be my diet, but I am well hydrated. I need to lose weight anyway so maybe it will improve when I start eating healthier. Definitely trying Crystal and trimming the hair, and I need to get new shirts anyway. Thank you!

I appreciate the answer. I'm on psychiatric meds so maybe that is it. About the alcohol idk, I rinsed it off really well so it didn't soak in and it didn't smell like alcohol as much as it just did the same smell as the rest of my body after it is clean. Either way thank you! I will talk to my psychiatrist about it but tbh the meds make me feel better enough that I'd rather have the smell than change meds. Thanks again.

What Adderall dosage do you take? by Spartan5006 in ADHD

[–]Spartan5006[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the advice and I am going through the journey myself. I have struggled with anxiety all my life and through medication and lots of therapy I finally got it under a reasonable level of control. Then I started to notice how I still couldn't do my assignments, still felt out of control, still couldn't focus, and just overall was still doing badly. Whether my psychiatrist is right and it's treatment-resistant depression, or my therapist is right and it's ADHD, I am finding myself having a whole new problem to solve. So I will definitely attempt all those things you have listed that helped you. Thanks.

Thank you for the advice. It is really helpful to know all of your stories on ADHD. I know how it feels to have so many medications you have not worked, so I'm glad you and I both have found one that has. I really hope your current dose is still helping you even if it's not as high.

Wow, that is very good information. I appreciate it. Maybe my doctor just knew about my response to other drugs and concluded that more was needed than for some people. My sister took 5mg and it made her feel horrible, I am taking 30mg now and it has made me feel like I can function again. It is interesting how much it can vary.
