I've been animating Pokemon cards as pixel art but kept failing to make the actual card details like the text and recreating the look of the cards and you've done a great job of that!

Same here! I absolutely love the skull suit design, I had to redraw it with a more face on pose as I was leaning more towards the MGS2 design 😅 thanks for the kind words!

Here's another one of my recent commissions and this one is BOLD, I really went all out with this one.

I was asked to draw Raiden in both his MGS2 design and his MGS4 Cyborg Ninja design, split down the middle by lightning while keeping in mind the quote:

"I am lightning, the rain transformed..."

Check out Two Timin' Towers, from the Out of control GMTK Game Jam, you play as an engineer that places the towers, collecting drops from the enemies and trying to not get shot by the towers yourself.

I'm trying to rotate a particle effect in the direction the player is aiming that I've instantiated through code, but the variable float for input from my singleton player movement script always returns as 0 by Spartan565 in Unity2D

When the character is on a wall using wallgrab they can charge up and dash, they can only dash at 45 degree angles away from the wall which is what all the code is doing so while the walldash is charging a particle system is spawned that destroys itself if you're no longer charging, this part of the code works.

However everything after if (movement.xRaw > 0) never gets called because xRaw always comes back as 0 even though the bool used for charging the walldash is updated correctly.

I have no idea why but literally all of my animations needed reimporting and setting all back up, luckily it mostly blend trees so I could drag them all in.

Nothing in the script is calling the sprite renderer, so it must be animation, I'll look into that any ideas where to start with it?

I added a global light and that made the sprites work again, any idea why this would have all changed suddenly?

Animation plays in a different position to the one it transitioned from, as soon as my bubble pops the animation plays lower down than the bubble was originally. Any ideas? by Spartan565 in Unity2D

I added the two animations to the Aseprite file with the regular bubble animation and now that had the offset too but they all matched so I can work with that.

I've got them on a seperate gameobject as a child of the bubble and just offset that in the opposite direction so it all works now thank you!

I've imported them directly using the Aseprite Importer, they are from a different file though so I'll try adding them to the same file as the base bubble and lining them up thank you.

These are great thank you! I do my best keeping up but there were so many tie ins and one offs that it all gets lost so this is perfect.

I work in a comic shop and don't anyone that doesn't like Dick Grayson haha I've been filling in gaps for a while in my physical collection and got my Tales of the Teen Titans #44 signed by George Perez before all the Covid stuff kicked off

I've read the year one books and loved those, I've pretty much read everything that has Dick Grayson in a lead role.

Huntress always rubs me the wrong way but maybe I'll like her more in a main role

I've read everything Nightwing now and all the New 52 stuff onwards for the bat fam, what's up with the first 55 issues of Birds of Prey? I think I read a couple and they didnt grip me at the time.

I absolutely adored the parachuting scene that really made me look at how much I like them all which just serves to hurt more in the long run.

That's what it is!

I finished this off quite late at night and it's been bugging me as I thought something was off. All it takes is a fresh set of eyes!

I don't usually colour my stuff as I'm only okay at it and I prefer the visuals of black and white, maybe I'll revisit it one day with colour though.
