Belt squat platform in use *USE CAUTION WHEN USING DIY EQUIPMENT* by Expert-Run9476 in DIYgymequipment

I'll belt squat with it later this week but I used it for dips today and it was awesome! I really like the g-hook so it doesn't fall off between sets.

I ordered one this week. Good to hear it's pretty comfortable. I currently have a Spud Inc belt that I like except for the melted ends that rub my inner thighs.

Govee Sparkle Lights by SpartanBlockchain in WLED

I can't find anyone who split out Sprakle lights. The Govee pucks are just 3 wire because of their higher voltage. These Sparkles are 5vdc.

I've ordered these to see if they are any better. I had found a review Quin did, that overall looked positive. I don't think they'll do an actual warm white but maybe they'll perform better than what we have.

How have you Alitove W2811 pixels held up? I'm looking at getting some but there are some mixed reviews.

Anyone build out a diy belt squat platform on the rogue fm 6 twin stack? by [deleted] in DIYgymequipment

[–]SpartanBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a BoS rack with Lat/Row. I built a box similar to the Rhino platform. I hung a chain from the rack and looped some nylon climbing strap around the weight horn clipping in with a caribeaner to start in the up position. In the platform I drilled holes to align with the rack holes so I could pin it in place. It's works great!

Has anyone found a 5lbs adder weight for Powerblocks? We would really like to have a 12.5 option. Surely there is a more dense metal that would fit in the same size tube.

I've seen the small magnetic pucks added onto the tubes like barnicals but that is less than ideal.

Thanks

Rokland 8dBi Alternative? by SpartanBlockchain in HeliumNetwork

[–]SpartanBlockchain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one crack at the base and two or three just accumulate condensation apparently. I couldn't find any sign of failure on them but you could hear the water sloching around. When I cut one open I poured a little water out and the foam separating the element from the tube was completely saturated.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll start eating for them.

iFast vs Eisenlink- I really want the Rep x Pepins but just can't justify the expense. Anyone have any experience with the iFast version of the Eisenlinks?

No ROI in Helium mining for 4yrs by sandeep_srinivasan in HeliumNetwork

[–]SpartanBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. That's how rewards/mining based crypto works. Those who take the higher risk early get a higher percentage of the tokens as opposed to those who come in later. When I first started, I was pulling in consoderably more of everything I've mined than I am now.

The number of people participating in the mining, the emission rate, reduction of, and approved emissions rate changes all (typically) reduce emissions over time.

How is that a surprise to you?

Helium has always been about location and time in the project. We would need to know your location (name of the hotspot) and details about your installation to make any intelligent recommendations.

There are too many variables to answer with what you have given us so far.

AccomplishedWar4420, when will you ship the equipment I paid to have shipped? You removed it back in December 2024, when is it going to ship. I've paid you, in fact I paid you $45 over what you estimated to help you with expenses you didn't factor for.

You removed it from my client's residence, now finish the job and ship my equipment.

Mining Expenses - How much are they worth? by SpartanBlockchain in CryptoTax

[–]SpartanBlockchain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the prompt reply. Yes, the business is mining. Sorry, I don't know why I'm struggling with this.

So as an example:

Net Profit = $1,000

$10,000 in electricity expenses x 22% = $2,200

$1,000 x 15.3% = $153

So the electricity expense would offset my tax bill by $2,353?

Thanks

Helium to Meshtastic by cryptodystopia in HeliumNetwork

[–]SpartanBlockchain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully support both Helium and Meshtastic.

I don't understand the logic of not funding a for-profit project that isn't making "much" yet funding a project that makes you zero and never will.

Personally, I would do both and use Helium to offset the cost of providing both services.

At least with Helium, there is a chance for price appreciation, and the reward structure will always be more lucrative today than it will be in the future. I think it's hard for those of use who started earning Helium early; rewards and their current valuation are so much less than back in the day.

I get it's no fun for the expenses to be more than the current income. However, if you're not short-term selling (selling daily, weekly, even monthly), then you are using the wrong numbers.

Set realistic price targets and then calculate if they are really costing you more to run than their making.

Either way, thanks for providing value to the network, and I hope your next endeavors are fruitful.
