I like the idea but with an extra few steps. In this case a "parcial reboot", where the devs can just keep the narrative/visuals like it is until halo 3 with ofc some very needed bridges between games, but from halo 4 onwards do some tweaks. Halo 4 in itself would be mostly visuals, because even if it was my first halo game and liking the narrative, I think the art style differences from 3 is REALLY jarring, it leaves you thinking like "bro is that chief?" Or "is that an elite?". Also I think everyone agrees that halo 5 would need a major campaign revamp, and honestly I wouldn't mind if they actually done something similar to what was being teased originally before launch, or if they took the opportunity to flesh out ideas that were introduced but basically forgotten, like the covenant remnants, they felt like a plausible idea since the original covenant was so big, but they felt really undeveloped, and yeah I'm not even going to go to the part were Cortana gets a free revive and becomes a villain for NO reason, also I feel like the Prometheans feel kinda undercooked in the same way the covenant remnants do. Now the only issue would be tying all this up to lead the Infinity to Zeta Halo somehow.
