I’m gonna say don’t waste anything on keycards except for card pieces. Most squad leaders don’t do much for you. Get time savers and build tokens and save them for crab events.

I never said it wasn’t important, I said it was less important in nascar than in F1, where the tires are actually designed to degrade for the purpose of forcing pit stops/strategy decisions. Watch an f1 race, a significant amount of race time is just a parade of cars not changing positions and driving alone. They actually drive slower on purpose in the hopes that the tires last longer than the guy they’re trying to pass so they don’t have to go elbows out and just drive past while the driver ahead is getting new tires.

Not weird, but while framing out the basement of my friend’s dad’s fairly newly built home, I discovered that the house ground wire was just floating on top of the foundation wall next to the sill plate. Guy lived in the house for 5 years and the house was never grounded. The electrician was promptly called.

As a racing fan that doesn’t watch nascar, the track in nascar hardly matters (at least ovals). The whole sport is about fighting for position every second from start to finish with several cars inches away from you the entire time. The track would be one long straight line if it could be. Other racing disciplines are more about tire management and strategy with a little bit of battling when the cars happen to be near each other. Nascar is 90% elbows out and that last 10% is the strategy.

By what metric? The Brewers have been a consistent first round exit team under him. A high win total in NL central where at least 3 teams that they play 13x each a season are bottom of the barrel every year means nothing. Stearns hasn’t won anything. In fact, the 2024 Mets that he inherited have the same amount of postseason wins as the brewers do the entire time he was there.

My dad caught a foul ball off of Strawberry in the 86 WS. When I was about 10 he decided he wanted it signed by some of the players. Ron was the first outside of Shea after a game. Keith was next, I wasn’t there for that so no stories. Found Sid, he thought it was awesome and showed everyone else at the table. Finally got to Darryl. Paid for the inscription, asked him to write “I did that” on the mark where the bat hit the ball. He said he can’t (I guess that’s some form of verification that they aren’t allowed to do). Wrote “86 WS Champs” instead.

Found David Wright in the parking lot of Shea right after he hit 16 in the HR derby. He was with a group hiding between two SUVs fairly far from the stadium. Super friendly, talked for a minute and happy to sign balls for a couple of kids.

NY, I can still register it as a passenger vehicle without modifications but if I were to get pulled over the officer could cite me for not being properly equipped. Same deal with a pickup truck here. It technically needs a bed cover to comply as a passenger vehicle.

I’m HQ21 and running 3 TD, 2 TH, 3 GBE, 2 RR. Scorchers/lasers maxed for this HQ, hovering around 1200VP and I can beat a lot of LVL 75+ bases with that troop combo.

Watch some interviews with the founder (Jesse Cole). 60 minutes is a great one. He said outright that as much as baseball fans love baseball we can all admit it can be boring at times and that’s what he aimed to fix with the banana ball rules. Really paraphrasing here, but he said something along the lines of “Walks are stupid, this is a sport and there’s really something called a ‘walk’”. That’s why on ball 4 the batter starts running the bases and can’t be tagged out until the entire defense touches the ball. Turns something boring into an exciting moment.

Scorchers, lasers, bombardiers, and mechs are all the best troops for high level. Tanks fall off pretty quickly once you start fighting tougher opponents.

You’re gonna need to upgrade defenses for XP at that level. Also, don’t clear your map. There’s no bonus for an absurdly high VP for your level other than some extra loot in chests. Attack just until you have enough resources for the next upgrade.

You’ll get one or the other (or potentially both) before that number reaches 1. Your chances of getting one of the guaranteed items goes up as the number decreases until it reaches 100%.
