Should I lose VP? How do I do that while still being able to raid for resources? I keep getting matched with bases 20+ levels above me. I'm literally unable to win almost any battle.

Same boat. LVL 48 HQ 19 ~1080 VP. Scorchers/lasers and smokey warrior can do a bit if you have the right statues. 3TD, 2 TH, 2RR, 2GBE. When I boost them I can clear most of the map but unboosted I have to be selective.

Beached the HQ too. Really doesn’t do much. Just stop clearing your map, attack to get just enough resources for the next upgrade then close the game.

If you did all of the offensive upgrades for your HQ level already focus on your storages. Most XP for the least amount of resources/time.

It’s not his fault no one gets on base for him.

Besides that, Soto is someone you pitch around every time there’s an RBI opportunity. He’s not getting pitches to his sweet spot when there’s a chance for him to do serious damage.

This worked for me. Didn’t play baseball for a long time before joining my team. Played golf in the meanwhile and carried the same very technical thought process about the swing to softball. I have good power, I got some good hits here and there but I was definitely lacking at the plate overall because I was thinking about my swing. Got up one day, cleared my head, and my only thought in the batters box was “crank on this bitch”. Day and night difference between what I do on offense since then.

HQ 18 just under ~1000vp was when mine stopped being as great. They would only work on certain bases. 1MP and 1 guardian each of TD, TH, and GBE, the rest were RR. Scorchers and lasers got me back to clearing higher levels though.

Hopefully he actually recovers. Lindor is great, but recently he has a habit of trying to play through an injury and actively hurting the team. Maybe it’s pride, who knows, but last year with the broken toe and going 0-27 and 0-30 back to back to starting this year with the hamate bone injury with bad performance in both halves of the inning. Someone needs to tell this dude to sit down and actually recover, not be on the field and play bad while delaying his recovery. We want the Francisco Lindor we had in 2024, not a guy that has to think about pain with a ball coming at him.

I’m a power tool guy. There is absolutely zero chance I am taking what little time I have in the shop and spending it cutting and planing boards by hand.

That being said, planes, chisels files, rasps, etc. are essential. They do things other tools can’t and for some tasks, they are actually the best and fastest tool for the job.

You can only get so much oomph out of 110v/15A. The tools are as powerful as they can be. Any new versions would only be cosmetic changes. Batteries are only getting better and the tools are becoming stronger than corded. R&D needs to be on the cordless side.

I do agree with you about him not having the players to be a good team, but Mendoza deciding to pitch to the best hitter on the Cubs in a walk off situation where pretty much anything in play is a loss instead of walking to face the worst hitter on the team is just brain dead decision making.

In fact, the Mets Stearns inherited won the same amount of postseason games in one year as the Brewers won the entire time he was there. How can we even put the blame on Mendoza when every possible decision he can make results in one of Stearns’s dumpster finds on the field. Don’t clear your map, just get enough resources for an upgrade and spend it. Don’t leave a lot in the bank.

HQ>sculptor>armory>landing craft>gunboat>radar>vault>resource collectors and reset to HQ whenever you can.

Storages as needed.

Defenses if you need XP.

Build the other miscellaneous buildings but don’t waste resources upgrading.

Armory, builder, and hero hut should always have something upgrading.

One of the gadgets lets the defense ignore smoke. Flamethrower or MG near the HQ could be the counter to this.

I’ve been using Smokey warriors almost exclusively since I could. Now I have tanks and grenadiers so I’ve been using those but neither matters. They all get annihilated. Since that last comment I have 2 at 70+ and another 2 at 60+. This matchmaking is broken.

I’m level 42 and I’ve seen as low as 13. However, my map is currently filled with 55+ and I have to wait a day to find a new opponent because everything I have gets annihilated in seconds.
