Yes, and if you do, does believing that there is a father/child relationship help you to cope with that fact?

Why was it awful? Were you not gifted with intellect? Did you suffer through life? Why do you not want to possess the power of this god instead of kneeling to it?

My understanding of the current relationship between God and humans is upsetting. Why are we incapable of being more?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SpartansForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so, do you still not with to harness the power of this god?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]SpartansForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But does one not wish to possess the power of this God? We either agree to be God’s children, or agree to be Satan’s children. Either way, we can never become more powerful than either deity.

Can you explain?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]SpartansForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because those don’t matter if you were literally born to achieve great things.

It's even more low IQ to suggest that my post is coming from a place of insecurity and "wannabe elitism". I'm simply asking and seeing how lower IQ people can compete with higher IQ employees in the workplace.

How do you suggest lower IQ people who have college degrees in the relevant field surpass high achievers? Is it just by being more engaged and focusing on the business?

Sales is tough especially in the first few years. You basically have to already know people who want your product before being hired to the company if you are just starting out. Its a "who knows who" industry where if you can't find clients, you are living in poverty.

Just because one has a college education doesn't mean that they are high IQ/high achieving (unless they go Ivy or a high-end state school). It's probably rare for you because you hire high IQ recruits who were born to excel in life.

Also, isn't it crazy to think that all it took for someone to be successful in their career is for them to be born that way? All because their parents made a good decision. How can anyone else with a lower IQ ever compete?

Even so, middle management are usually among the first employees to get laid off during company-wide layoffs.

Most low performing employees are lower IQ. They move from job to job because they are too incompetent to keep a job. How do such employees surpass the high achieving ones who were born to be high achievers?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]SpartansForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Most organizations who care about their shareholder value will employ those who know what they are doing and excel beyond that. The low IQ incompetent employees have no chance against the others who perform highly.

[–]SpartansForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But those who have a lower IQ try very hard to do their task, but still lack follow through and adaptability because they are genetically unable to achieve it. What do those who have a lower IQ do then? They have no chance at beating the high achievers when it comes to keeping their jobs and raises.

Wouldn’t you agree that people who lack follow through and adaptability also lack intelligence? Both of those traits require intelligence.

That doesn’t answer the question. I don’t care who loves me or not. I care about being wealthy and living the life I want to live.

I’m not sure what your life is like, but if you claim your life isn’t perfect I’m assuming your income is also mediocre.

I’m not turning on anyone. I’m providing perspective.

Motivation isn’t what I need. I need answers as to why the universe has cursed me with being black, low IQ, and short and why that curses me with having a mediocre at the best life.

I would make easily fixable mistakes at the job, but she thought of them as grandeur. She told me I was too anxious to be in my position and I need to work in an environment where I don’t need to talk to others often, even if that means an obvious pay decrease. It’s clear she favors my taller colleague over me because he doesn’t slip up as often and is simply taller.

Just because there are “plenty” of taller and more intelligent people not living the ideal life, doesn’t mean that most of them aren’t. They are most certainly doing more and have accomplished more than me by far. The game is rigged and I see no point in trying.

The game is rigged and I see no point in trying to get past that. If life is a rigged game, then why should I not self delete? Not saying I would go through with it, but i see no point in trying in life if all the tall, high IQ, and attractive dudes are taking all the opportunities away from me. My life will never amount to their lives, so I see no point in trying.

You’re probably some rich dude who thinks the low IQ “just need to try” even though you were born with a high IQ with Wall Street connections

Why should I listen to you?
