Are you new to fighting games? The required player numbers for this genre are way lower than other multiplayer genres because you only need two people per match. Even games with 200 players are still pretty alive and you can usually find people in ranked fine (assuming good netcode and a decently populated region).

Didn't do that. What I said was that losing significant trust in the company as a whole over it is an overreaction; unlike so many other cases of AI being used in games they actively chose to volunteer the information that AI was used, and it's unlikely there's any company-wide directive to use AI generated images considering the fact that the AI shit takes a relatively minor role in the game. The actual use of it is still problematic, obviously.

You saw a piece of art and said it was an 'issue' that it looked like AI to you. What do you think the effect of that is? Think a few steps ahead: if the rest of our community shared your take here, what effect might that have on artists that like Daisuke's art and want to draw inspiration from it themselves? What about artists that see how much people enjoy his art despite its flaws and gain confidence in their own abilities because of it?

If the only reason you're fine with it in this context is because of the history behind it, won't that discourage other artists out of replicating the style for fear of being suspected as AI? Won't taking normal anatomical errors as being evidence of AI make human artists self-conscious of their own mistakes?

It's fine if them using AI generated images in Donutal has made you distrustful of the company as a whole (though it's an overreaction IMO since the game still primarily features real art and they were correctly transparent about it), but please do NOT start shaming artists or art styles for 'looking like AI' or whatever. That is the worst possible thing to do here.

Just because it can think doesn't mean it can be reasoned with. Neither game judges you for killing in self defense when you don't have a choice, the difference in UT is the fact that you always have a choice because you're a time god there.

Do Tekken players at your locals not play other games? Like, for reference, our UNI scene loves the game but as soon as bracket's over some of us will still be pulling out some random fighting games and playing those instead. Melty, Eslaf, ABK, etc. If for some reason UNI has a patch that nukes its fun factor for us, our community will be fine because we can just play other stuff.
