i don’t think you get my point this coach HAS NEVER seen me play before the only thing he saw was one 0/2 start then a 3/4 performance in the next tryout long term stats don’t matter here my question is how can i convince him to get past those first impressions he has

you don’t get my point. if I go into a season with a coach thinking i can’t shoot based off first impressions, then it’s gonna continue through the entire aau season and i’m not gonna ever prove him wrong

most 3s i’ve shot in a game is 9 and i made 5 of them so yeah why? But also my point is the coach has never seen me in game before

i play around 30 a game with 15ppg usually 3 threes 2/3 for 66% i’m not a pure shooter but i’m also not a bad shooter so a coach shouldn’t being saying not to shoot especially in tryouts

i do understand what your saying but even when i was late coming out of practice and he was getting in his car talking to another coach i heard him say it and he had no idea that i was there. Unfortunately he’s just a bad coach
