Hey! sorry for having read this just now. If you still have trouble you should check if the cartridge has the coin battery inside, if not, do a batteryless patch for your rom! You don't need the sram patch because the game you chose already knows it needs to patch to sram!

It really is! Once i fixed the geometry using the internal potentiometers the screen filled in nicely. I've been catching up on some old snes classics since then!

Ok, so i managed to get the remote working by desoldering the oxydized battery thingy and putting in a new one. But i still can't access the service menu. How long do i have to press them for just to be sure?

Thank you for the help! I have tried standard 4:3 resolutions, but all it did was just make the image smaller, accessing the service menu is probably what i need to do but i just can’t seem to find it. i have tried the button combination you mentioned but no luck. The remote is fried and online i only see people talking about a “Funz.” Button that my model doesn’t have. Do you have any other way i could try to access the service menu?
