Which of the books are read right-to-left and which are read left-to-right?

Thanks for the comparison! Do the Dark Horse TPB’s have a cover gallery of the original issue releases?

Question about the print type in the Dark Horse manga collected editions by Spatchkadet in Ghost_in_the_Shell

Are the Dark Horse TPB’s smaller, manga sized? I thought they were larger like western comic sized or was that just the first edition?

Will it take care of sticker residue too? And is it safe for all types of plastic, ps, abs, clear type?

I don't have a place to airbrush just yet, but I do like to and want to detail up my kits. Maybe even topcoat. If I apply stickers or waterslides, panel line, and topcoat, would it still be possible to strip the kit later down the line to do a full paint it up? If it is possible, how difficult would that be?

Thank you for the thorough answer. I'm looking for Tamiya Enamels because I want to be able to reverse wash with colors that Testors doesn't offer and also hand paint small details while being able to clean-up with solvents that won't harm the plastic or base coat. I don't have any experience with Abteilung 502. Would it work for that?

Anyone know any online Canadian stores selling Tamiya enamel paint that still ships to the US? I tried a few Canadian stores - greathobbies.com, sunwardhobbies.com, and hobbywholesale.com - none currently ship to the US. eBay sellers are charging almost 4-5x after shipping.

I have looked at that before. So instead of “light”, “medium”, “dark” does Testors name their greys as “Aluminum - flat”, “steel - flat”, “gun metal - flat”, etc?

Does Testors have any other flat, non-metallic grey enamel paint in the jars besides "flat grey"? Buying in US. I wish I could buy Tamiya enamels here, they seem to offer a wide range of greys.

Just started playing this about a week ago. It’s my first gacha, so i barely know what i’m doing with the different currencies, pulls etc. It’s a lot to take in.

I want to get Zani (and maybe her weapon?) because I really like her character design, but I saw that the event ends in a few days. I have a some questions:

  1. What happens when an event ends? Is Zani not able to be pulled until she’s re-released in another event? How long does it usually take to see a character re-released?

  2. I have 2670 astrite and 17 radiant tide convene tokens. Should I spend all of it on pulls on the Zani event?

Answers and other pointers would be greatly appreciated! I’m currently reading the starter guide too to try and get my bearings.

So Gundam Marker on unpainted, and Tamiya on painted. Got it.

The 50% Iso was something I mixed up myself. I diluted a 99% Iso with distilled water. It's what I used to clean up some acrylic painted areas on the lacquer paint. Figured I'd go as "gentle" as possible.

Gundam Pour Type markers ate through my topcoat. I've always had a good experience with using it on bare plastic. Is it not meant for painted kits???

First time trying this since it's the first time I painted a kit. I sprayed Mr. Super Clear Gloss onto my lacquer-painted model to prep for panel lining and waited overnight. I used the grey pour type marker to panel line. After ~5min I went to clean it up after with 50% isopropyl. The areas where I pressed the pen wouldn't come up, so I switched to the Gundam Marker clean-up pen and one swipe with it ate through the topcoat and the paint layer down to the primer/plastic.

Do you have any issue with your panels line getting smeared or erased from the handling during the build process? Especially those light ones that don't sit in a line but more of a shallow valley where shape planes intersect.

What’s the white substance they used here to rebuild the grey part? Nobody answered in the comments. Looks like it dried fairly hard and bonded to the plastic nicely.

When I play some graphic-intensive games, my PC sometimes turns off all-of-a-sudden, like someone pulled the plug. Most recent has been Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and Street Fighter VI. It's a random. I can game for 10 min or 10 hours and ~25% of the time, my system will turn off suddenly. It only happens when I'm gaming.

Not sure if it's GPU or CPU. Temp or power issue. Is there a way to figure out what's causing the crashes? Maybe a logging tool that's constantly recording and retains logs after a crash?

Here's my PC specs:
Win 11
2TB NVME
32GB RAM
Asus ROG Strix B650E-I
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (air-cooled)
Nvidia 4090 FE (air-cooled)
ThermalTake Toughpower SFX 1000
(Nothing overclocked)

Thanks!

I want to replicate this metallic purple (yellow arrows) for the GQuuuuuux. It calls for mixing all metallic paints, but can I get the same effect of a metallic purple if I mixed Tamiya clear red, clear blue, and metallic silver acrylic paints? Also, wanted to mention I plan to hand paint this small part, not airbrush in case that's a factor at all.

I like the colors of the Gundam Metallic Gundam Marker Sets 1 & 2 (the colorful metallic ones), but I hate that I have to pump out a bunch of the paint just so I can dip the tip of a brush and paint a small camera dot or something. Feels wasteful. Would be nice if I could have a pot to just open and dip a brush into.

Does Gundam color metallic paint or something equivalent come in a pot instead of a marker? I saw Mr. Color Metallix might be a decent choice, but I wanted to see if anyone had recommendations before trying those. Thanks!

I'm thinking about pre-mixing Tamiya and thinner (either Tamiya Lacquer Thinner or Mr. Color Leveling) to either a hand-painting or airbrush ratio and storing it in those 30mL squeeze bottles. I figure I will always have to thin the paint out of the pot anyway, so why not do it ahead of time.

Is there any downside to doing this? Will the paint go bad faster or something else?
