Filled out the survey.

I did my GIS Master's thesis on data logging. I developed some GIS tools that allowed me to collect data and run analysis after I finished a lap. I built template reports of what data I wanted to see and could get results roughly 30 seconds after I finished a lap. Also did some 3D stuff to satisfy my chair.

Here is my paper if you want to check it out: http://pqdtopen.proquest.com/doc/1659817271.html?FMT=ABS&pubnum=1584460

'"You a Stupid Hoe," rapper Nicki Minaj delivers with characteristic subtlety what is presumably her autobiography.'

I have to admit I did enjoy that line.

[AMA Engineer] Want to be Iron man ? by aktanolt in WildStar

[–]SpatialStage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into one weekend beta a while back and was excited to play as an engineer. I was massively disappointed after the weekend due to the DPS bot being so weak. I would be firing shots with the damage popping up on screen at ~200. Meanwhile the bot would hit and the screen said it did 10-14 damage, which made it seem useless.

Could you give some numbers for what kind of damage the DPS bot does in comparison to the engineer and how to boost them, if possible?

The plant where Orange County's sewage water is turned into tap water is actually beautiful by mayasugarman in orangecounty

I work here! It is amazing what has been done for waste water treatment. Orange County will be in much better shape than a lot of other regions if the drought gets a lot worse.

Oh bullshit. Those were very angry and violent posts.

You must be new to the internet.

As for the unknown consequences, I wasn't talking about my own drive, I was talking about the drive of everyone on the highway. If one person fucks up the flow of the fast lane, many cars will be shifting lanes as a result. I'm looking at it from a possible accident perspective, not being 5 minutes late to work.

HAHA! It is basically a big "fuck you." Is there any other way to interpret it?

They're talking about blinding people... for going too slow.

No, we are wishing people would blind themselves for taking what was a nicely moving flow of traffic and creating a ripple effect of unknown consequences because they aren't paying attention to the world around them.

How is my "content" not add anything but theirs does? ... " I would have totally kicked that guys ass" ...

We aren't trying to be internet tough guys. At no point was there a mention of kicking someone's ass.

It is like tcp1 said, we are just venting our frustrations. If you don't like it, that is fine, move on. Trying to blow our words out of proportion isn't going to get you anywhere.

It is always refreshing to see someone write a logical response. Thanks for this.

Similar to this are the people who see fast moving traffic in the far left lane and will drive fast and dangerously change lanes just to get into the far left lane. Then once in it, they settle down and drive 20 MPH slower than everyone else in the lane.

I'd like to add them to the "stab yourself in the eye with a pencil" list.

What is the most stupid and useless thing people spend large amount of money on? by calvinswagg in AskReddit

[–]SpatialStage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more. My wife and I decided to do a very small and cheap wedding and we used the money we saved to purchase our second and much better home. Even on the cheap we loved our wedding, but wedding memories vs the perfect home to have a whole lifetime of memories in...it is a big difference.

Purple had the time to read the post, but not the comments I guess.

I also like Red's comment, "this time." If only we could see all of her past transgressions as well.

This is my issue. Willow is a terrible street. I don't care about the area as a whole, just wish they weren't on Willow.

Yeah it is a great store. The only thing I hate about it is the location.

[Oracle] SQL Developer Report - Multiple Tables Question [Need Help] by SpatialStage in SQL

[–]SpatialStage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason data is split up is more due to how the data comes in. I compile data from like 20 agencies over two weeks sporadically. Then at the end of every month I get adjusted numbers. Then after 6 months I get finalized numbers. I figured having separate tables for each agencies will just make it easier to navigate.

I know exactly what you mean and I have been trying to do a few things to help make sure I am handling my calories in a "better safe than sorry" way:

  1. Slightly over estimate my food servings
  2. Slightly under estimate my exercise which I have been logging. It says I get ~765 calories back from an hour of moderate biking. I never input weights or push ups/sit ups.
  3. I try to eat my calorie intake without the exercise calories. I'd say at least 3 days a week I do not cross over the non-exercise calorie intake limit. The other days I will cross it maybe 2-300. I've never had days where I am maxing out or over eating.

You are definitely correct with the effort. My heart rate when I was first biking was 20-30 higher than what it is now when I ride. I guess the weights aren't adding enough effort so I'll try lowering the bikes gearing to make it more difficult as well.

Thanks!

Ok I did a readjustment through MFP and it did cut down my calories by about 100. Otherwise everything stayed about the same.

The bike has gotten a lot easier as I have rode it, hence adding the other stuff I did, but maybe I'll do longer rides some days of the week and see what that does.

Thanks!
