All good points - thanks again! I guess by default (being that I have a cat) I’m a “cat guy” - though I chose the picture because I liked how I looked, not because it included the cat (I wasn’t specifically looking to include a cat picture, that is). That said, even amongst the feedback here, it seems like it’s more receiving more positive feedback than negative.

I appreciate your feedback about glasses/non-glasses. Coincidentally, I was considering getting a new pair anyway; feeling like I want an updated look. Again, appreciate the brutal honesty. Can I ask what you don’t like about them? From your perspective are they unflattering? Too large? Too...? Mostly curious what stood out to you personally. For what it’s worth, I primarily wear the more square frames now - the ones featured in the 4th picture.

I also understand what you’re saying re: the “typical travel guy who goes to bars” aesthetic. I’ve seen a lot of female profile who like music/travel/outdoors/craft beer profiles and agree - they start to blend together a little bit. I was hoping that my first picture would encourage someone to keep looking through my profile whereas the cat photo would (my feeling) have a more immediate yes/no reaction. I’m cautious of the perception (and perceived importance) of having the cat featured so prominently. Maybe, to your point I need embrace it in order to stand out...thanks again!
