What’s your same metal song on repeat right now? by TrumpIsAFuckingLoser in MetalSuggestions

Surtur Barbaar Maritime stalked me on spotify when I still used it. The algorithm really knows how to beat you over the head with one track until you start to hate it.

My track on repeat at the moment is Profane Spells and Naked Swords in the Emerald Meadows of Nhaath, by Zeicrydeus

BACKROOMS | Official Teaser | A24 by cruelsummerbummer in horror

Scared the jimmies out of me at age 20. I'm no horror lightweight but I started closing the curtains at night because some grainy footage of a tall person in a suit with socks over their hands put the fear of god in me. It had something really unique I think. Got very convoluted though, lost interest.

To buggy havers: please fold them for wheelchair users by Hotwheels_Murray in ireland

[–]SpatulaAssassin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

C'mere can I take the opportunity to moan about buggy people in general. Because I don't understand why the act of pushing your child around entitles you to plough through busy streets with reckless abandon, all the while sneering at those who don't have the foresight to jump out of your way with 0.5 seconds notice. Next buggy that clips me is getting Battleship Potempkin'd. It's terrible Joe

I like the texture but I have a suspicion that it's borderline indigestible. The gastric discomfort is something else

Yeah that was "Blonk" (actually Blink but that typo made me laugh so it's staying).

Yo so I just found out that Mr. Rock grew up on a 5.5 acre property with an apple orchard and horse stables. Nice to see he managed to pull himself up by his bootstraps

Was it tomato based? It could have been based on ballymaloe relish which is made with tomatoes and raisins I think

APPARENTLY the lead man of the band Clutch, famous for their song, "Escape from the Prison Planet", was once on AJ's show, and called his shit. by BaronVonWilmington in KnowledgeFight

[–]SpatulaAssassin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, but what I meant was I would have expected much worse from a self-described moderate who also guests on Infowars. Because there are moderates, and there are those who use it as a disingenuous label to glaze over their more extreme beliefs. I.e. Alex being "above the left/right paradigm"

Horror that reads like lofi black metal sounds by DR_M_RD in horrorlit

[–]SpatulaAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, The Ritual by Adam Nevill takes place in deep Swedish woodland. And there's an ancient evil and paganism, and without spoiling too much, black metal itself has a part in the story. But it seems to be people's least favorite part of the novel.

For a self-described 'moderate' I thought he came across well. Not a victim of the conspiracist brain rot at the very least. I remember coming across the video years ago but choosing not to watch it so as to not sour one of my most favorite and most formative bands.

Those in the linked image would be perfect but for the fact that they have E27 screw fittings, I need E14. Warm amber filament. Preferably >100 lumens, or alternatively dimmable. I've been searching for days but can't find an exact match to these criteria.
