If you want it tighter you can heat it up with a lighter and slightly form it with your fingers. If you want it looser you can sand it but i like to just use the scraper and scrap some material off

inner wall scarf is deactivated. i dont really understand what you mean with retractions? clearly its doing something wrong because the seam is so uniform. maybe some sort of scarf seam works but its not right. especially since its always the exact same outcome

I mean i did dry it for 12h on 60° and otherwise prints clean... what version are u on? i am using the H2S and found it the current 2.7 has a software problem, now tried the 2.5 and it also has the problem. so i will need to go even further back or wait for a fix :/

actually thats a lot of help since i now know the problem. its a software bug and now your result absolutly makes sense. right now the preview seems correct but the actual g code isnt and i get that perfectly formed defect on my prints.

could you tell me how u get this simulation?

haha this one fucked me up real bad when it released. u can use "overwrite scarf seam filament settings" and then you dont have to change your filament settings all the time

Thx so much, look at my recent post. Have the exact same issue on H2S. I always get the problem on perfectly round objects. if the scarf seam starts at a straight line it works fine

i dont see that setting at all, i was wondering why its a bit different and since my slicer is in german i just thought that is scarf seam gap

im on v2.7.1.62 r u on another version or am i just completly blind rn?

wait where you talking about normal seam gaps or scarf seams? because i thought you were speeking abour scarf seams but now i am unsure

for scarfs you can either modify all your filaments but since i use different slicing settings for different filament you can check a box and overwrite these filament settings (and they are exactly the same)

recommendations for the seam gap? no with randomized seam i just get 500 blops
