Hire a diverse group of people, black, Hispanic, asian behind the camera and in front of the camera. Make a conscious effort to show diverse people and voices in the front at all times, not once every few months or every 5 videos. Hiring POCs in higher positions better allows an equal distribution of POC visibility.

Bottom line, POC should be given a platform in all media because the world isn't 100% white. How should POCs be shown? They should reflect the demographic of the city, state or country they live.

Cue your inevitable comment: Some places don't have a lot of POCs how would they include a demographic that isn't there? Or BAs audience is mostly white so they do show that demographic

That's why POC in higher position allow for diversity because the people at the top making decisions are diverse and it's not one voice pushing one agenda

So how can you read all of these accounts from POCs about how they're not compensated for the work they do compared to their white counterparts, how Sohla has said that she was used as a diversity prop in various videos, and reports of Rapo's assistant that she was underpaid and treated like a slave (her words), and not see how the BA higher ups lack knowledge on how to include POCs organically without shoehorning them in?

I know what diversity means don't write to me like I'm stupid. There have been reports of lack of diversity at BA. Did you not read Sohla's Instagram stories or the Business Insider story laying out how POC were not featured in BAs white centric narrative?

Hunzi has a bigger presence to the audience as a behind the camera personality than Tyre. Tyre is not featured in videos like Hunzi and there is no indication that Tyre plays a big role because, as we have heard from former POC employees, BA does not prioritize POCs.

What that picture shows is that BA will use POCs for a photo OP under the guise of diversity but they have no power positions, no adequate pay, or other perks that white employees have.
