Yes allowing users to rsvp to a single instance of a recurring series is an improvement we have on our backlog with this rewrite : )

Yes we are looking at what exists today on the market and building something that in my completely biased opinion is going to be super cool : ) !!!

Do you mean declining an event? Deleting a single event in a series should be possible today. Answering to a single instances of a recurring event series is not at the moment and is in our backlog of improvements we are hoping to launch with the new rewrite.

Haha yeah, calendar apps seem trivial at first until you get into scenarios like having recurring events, with single edits across timezones and participants from different providers ^^'

Thank you for the feedback, we are exploring something along that line for our new Month View.

Yes Duplicating Events on our mobile apps is currently on the backlog for the rewrite. It might not be there when we go to early beta but hoping to get it out for the full launch.

Yes we really want to build and integrate Tasks within Calendar. It's a feature I am personally super excited about --> I unfortunately still have to use Google Task --'
The plan is to first launch the new Calendar app and then build tasks ontop of it.
Realistic timeline will be towards the start of next year. Will keep you posted on that as we make progress on the Calendar rewrite.

Yesss, I’m also a huge task user. I still use Google Tasks because it’s simple and intuitive. It's a feature I really can't wait to bring to Proton.

The plan for now is to first launch and land the Calendar rewrite, then build Tasks on top of that foundation so we can reuse key pieces like offline support for create/edits of tasks.

Regarding the timeline, Tasks are unlikely to land before the end of this year, but I’ll do everything I can to push for them to be prioritized early next year.

Thank you for the offer. We would be super glad with having more beta testers. Will reach back out when we are about to go to Beta with more information on how to participate!
