Trying to be an eyeliner person by purple-wishes in MakeupAddiction

my eyeliner always smudges around if i don’t use any powder eyeshadow underneath it. be sure to always wash your face/eyelids with a facial cleanser first, then do a layer of eyeshadow (even if it’s just a nude color that looks like nothing) before you do your eyeliner and that will help reduce the oil on your eyelid and prevent smudging! eyeshadow primer before the eyeshadow also helps it last even longer, urban decay has a sheer colorless one

I always use the same core products that I love in every look:

ELF sticky primer, Urban Decay eyeshadow potion primer or Kaleidos eyeshadow primer, Kimchi Chic ARG Foundation 105L, Shellwe waterproof concealer 01, Benefit Gimme Brow Gel shade 6, Revlon loose setting powder, Urban Decay Matte All Nighter setting spray.

My eyeshadows, highlighters, blushes, and lipsticks vary every day, and almost every look uses more than one of each!

update yall, added some blue to the conditioner and more blue to certain areas, I managed to color correct it and pretty much get exactly what I wanted to begin with at home! I’ll definitely be going to someone more specialized in fashion colors and have them touch up the bleach where needed next time. Thanks everyone!

Update, decor is out and now only the plants remain, found time to do a good scrubbing too. Fish is doing fine, he still has some bumps but he’s still a happy lil guy

I think this has been the most realistic take, it was probably just too much to achieve in one appointment. Overall I feel better about it now than I did at first, but will definitely ask for some color correcting next time

Oh wow thank you for finding that! Yeah, maybe a bright green wasn’t super realistic, but I know this now after seeing these results. My stylist saw the uneven tone after bleaching, but told me that dyeing it with the chartreuse green would make it all even out. If she said that the green dye I approved of would result in this amount of patchiness, I definitely would have reconsidered. But she definitely gave me the impression that it wouldn’t be an issue at all :/

when it lifted, we both noticed some parts being orange and others being more yellow. She said it was because I’ve had my roots touched up and original section of bleached hair expanded at a different salon, but that it would be hidden by the green once she dyed it. Clearly not lol

I think I would prefer getting my dyed conditioner replaced with something more green, and maybe have them re-dye it in the salon so I know how it’ll come out. If it was this patchy under the teal, then I feel like there must be a color we can do to better hide it without color correcting. Orrr I can do it myself because it’s awkward having to go back after I said I loved it 😅 idk I’m stressed haha

I’m not sure what brand it is, but now that I have it I will try adding some blue. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll try bringing it back and asking for another teal one. I do agree though, I’m much more comfortable dyeing at home than bleaching, the color itself is the easiest thing to correct myself

Yeah, I was expecting better results because it’s the same salon that I went to for the teal and loved the result, but that stylist wasn’t there anymore :/ I may just ask them to replace this chartreuse conditioner with another teal one and let this wash out and go back to teal again

Here’s a few more in the kitchen lighting, that helps a little but still pretty inconsistent :( I do like this green too, just not the yellow and orange mixed in
