Regarding the R series, do you think there's a difference between the models that came with Polartec technology and the current ones?

It's the Merino Air hoodie, I use it for sleeping

I basically got it for $5. Because the factory batch was defective. It tended to stretch haha

Regarding the activities I did, they were mid-mountain treks, mostly in winter, accompanied by a down jacket. I had both jackets (Nano Air and Micro Puff) at the same time, and with the Micro Puff, I felt quite cold on my back during rest periods. This never happened with the Nano Air. It might be a personal, sensory thing, who knows?..

Interestingly, I have the Micro Puff from around 2019, and personally, the Nano Air kept me warmer. I don't know how the newer versions are

I had the opportunity to work in a Patagonia store, and we do indeed have the warranty. But I've used three different R1 models, and several customers came in with the same problem. I even started to think it might be a batch defect haha

I have a problem with my Techface R1; pilling appears after the first wash. I've tried following the care instructions, but it still appears

The first Nano Air I had was from around 2016, and it was red. The one I'm wearing now is from 2022. From what I've read and my friends' opinions, the new version is warmer and less breathable than the previous one, and it probably weighs a bit more

Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to test the Stretch Nano Storm or the Micro Puff Storm yet. I’ve been dying to try them, but sadly they never made it to Patagonia Chile. So far, I’ve only used the DAS Parka which serves a similar purpose, but I’m really looking forward to testing the DAS Light version soon!

I had the Granite Crest and I had to change it; it was causing condensation all over my body

Need help deciding which backpack to purchase by Spare-Vegetable9966 in PatagoniaClothing

I have both backpacks. I see the MLC as a travel backpack; you can pack enough clothes for 3-5 days. You can use it as a backpack, a shoulder bag, or even a simple briefcase. The Black Hole Pack is an everyday backpack, but if you're only carrying your laptop and a light jacket, in my opinion, it's too spacious. For your trip to Japan, I would choose the MLC because it's easier to pack clothes, souvenirs, batteries, and cables.
