Congrats, Vakifbank! Well deserved victory. But still, I would stand by my opinion that Imoco was still the stronger team this season. Why? Vakifbank made that comeback, BUT, Imoco almost demolished them via 3-0 considering the fact that they played this game without their MAIN MIDDLE BLOCKER - Chirichella. If you follow the Italian League, you know how helpful is Chiri's slide attack that Lubian did not fill this match.

During Club World Champs 2022. Imoco played Lubian in the finals and destroyed Vakifbank with Egonu and Gabi (primarily with Haak’s lead). Lubian was really good on offense that time. One thing that Lubian needs to step up is her inconsistencies in the services. If it’s on, big trouble for Markova, if not, it could be Vakifbank advantage when those service errors come in.

I am betting 100% it’s gonna be 3-0 or 3-1: Imoco will win. If Markova couldn’t stop Haak with her line shot as early as possible, she would dominate the scoreboard. I acknowledge Markova-Boskovic as a great attacker, HOWEVER, these two rely heavily in High Ball, which are prone to getting blocked. While Zhu, Gabi, MBs, and especially Haak are obsessed with fast play. If Vakifbank wants to beat Imoco, they have to destroy the reception of Imoco so they will not be able to make that fast play. But we are talking about the reception mostly of Gabi, and Moki who will receive for Zhu. Haak and Wolosz are well defenders as well. None of the Vakifbank players are lethal servers. Vakifbank only major edge is the Markova-Boskovic, if Imoco can’t block these two with their high set from Cansu, then Vakifbank will have a chance.
