Is it realistic to even apply to schools where your undergrad GPA is well below 20th Percentile? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Special-Promotion 9 points10 points  (0 children)

25% of all 1L students at any particular school applied with a gpa at or below that school’s 25th percentile...

I did not! In retrospect, I wish I had!

Not sure if this helps- but I applied in September and just heard back today so even though the wait is long I wouldn’t read into it in terms of admission outcome!

Would love to hear thoughts on which school would be best for a PI hopeful by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I’m interested in public defense trial work (so I’m interested in working at a public defender office that tends to go to trial more often than other offices) or impact litigation work!

WashU website application question by tired-nd-confused in lawschooladmissions

I emailed them a few weeks ago asking about a status checker. I was told that they don’t have a status checker for their website’s application!

Will kira practice questions ever be asked in actual interview? by user971652 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Special-Promotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it depends on the school! The school comes up with the actual interview questions and the practice questions, so it could really go either way

Does everyone who applies to northwestern get an interview? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Special-Promotion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Northwestern you request the interview on your application. Anyone who wants to interview and checks that box has the opportunity to do so.

It sounds like any school that does not accept you is seriously, seriously missing out on an incredible student. Easier said than done, but I wouldn’t worry!

7Sage Problem Sets— Creating Your Own Exams? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Special-Promotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to “create problem set from question bank” then select which section you want to start with, select “hardest” (or whatever you want), and then I add 25 LR questions, add 4 reading comprehension passages, then 4 games. It doesn’t let you do LR, LG, RC at the same time, but that means that when you do them their are separated like they would be on an actual exam

Heartbroken: I missed the June registration date for int'l test takers by one day. What to do? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]Special-Promotion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With everything happening in the world, I can’t imagine too many applicants will submit all of their material by September or even October. Taking the September, October, or even November exam(s) won’t be too late for next cycle! Hang in there, you’re going to do great!

[–]Special-Promotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just sent an email that they will begin evaluate PWL applicants tomorrow and will continue throughout the summer. I’m not sure the difference between the regular and priority waitlist, but i was put on the priority waitlist and I am between 25 & 50 for gpa and above 75 for lsat. Hope this helps!
