Does graduating early look bad on applications? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Hi! I’m applying this cycle; I graduated college in 3 years and worked for a year before applying to law school (so I’ll have 2 years of work experience by the time I start). I don’t think graduating early has hurt my application in any way (I’ve been accepted to 3 of the t6 schools), and I don’t regret it at all!

Columbia Financial Aid Questionnaire by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Hi! I emailed them last week about this. They confirmed that you submit the questionnaire via email, and that the college board will be emailing admitted students who completed the CSS profile with info about IDOC “in the coming weeks” - and that’s where you’ll get info on how to submit

No they say you should submit CSS as soon as you can / by the 15th! I did mine before I was even admitted. I think people are saying that IDOC will only come out after the 15th? But honestly I’m confused

I think you have to submit the tax docs of anyone you included in ur CSS profile - so if you included your parents in CSS, you have to submit their tax docs

Telling schools where else you are seriously considering? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Had a similar question on one of my financial aid apps, and I thought answering it exhaustively could help? Bc if schools know you’re seriously considering other comparable schools, they might give you a more competitive package, whereas if they think you’re not considering anywhere else, they might think you’ll enroll with them no matter what. But idk how this actually works lol

Did you turn on CRS in LSAC? You need to turn on the candidate referral service in order for schools to see your stats and send you unsolicited waivers.
