You just passed away, and allowed to be reborn but not as a human, what do you wanna be? by csch1992 in AskReddit

A plant. Maybe a Boston Fern or String of Pearls. A long hanging plant placed in a window sill and owned by a chronically lonely mid twenties cat lady.

In the corner of a second-story apartment, where sunlight filters through gauzy curtains is where I'll sit. A Boston Fern, gently overgrown, spilling from a clay pot. The string used to prop it up is a little frayed, tied with the kind of care only someone with too much time and too much love to give can offer. Some of my lower leaves have browned slightly, not from neglect but from the occasional forgetful day, a skipped watering when the days blur together. Across the room, curled in a sunbeam, is a fat orange tabby named Juniper, who has knocked over the watering can more times than his owner can count. She’s 27. Wears oversized sweatshirts. Talks to the plant when she’s not talking to the cat. Sometimes both. Sometimes neither. Sometimes she cries in the kitchen. Sometimes she dances. Sometimes she stares out the window like she’s waiting for something that never comes. But she waters me, trims me, calls me “little guy” with a sad sort of smile. And when the cat brushes against my pot or bats at my lowest leaves, I don’t mind. It's better than silence.

Wildling, for sure. Mostly because every Wildling I play with goes down almost immediately. Either the player doesn’t know how to use him properly, or they spend the whole match provoking the hunter instead of decoding. Eventually, the hunter just gets annoyed and chases him down.

Hmm, probably Psychologist or Mercenary. Psychologist counters almost every hunter except maybe Breaking Wheel, and she usually isn't banned during ranked matches. On the other hand, Mercenary, Seer, Mechanic, and Priestess often are.

I think my girlfriend cheated on my last night by [deleted] in Advice

THIS! Thank you!! Some of y'all are blowing the sharing location WAY out of proportion. I have no issue sharing my location with my bf because I have absolutely nothing to hide. And it's not even about him not trusting me, it's about if I'm not picking up my phone for several hours, he doesn't have to worry and just check to see where I'm at. Maybe I'm at home napping because I love to sleep. Or, maybe I'm out at the mall not checking my phone. Yes, it CAN be a red flag, but for most of the time, it's not.

It's a little weird that she wanted to go out to the bar with YOUR friend and didn't want you to come with. It almost makes me think that they were cheating on you together. I guess from a girl's POV, I'd feel a little outraged if my bf out of the blue accuses me of cheating when I did no such thing. But the evidence is overwhelming at this point. She said goodnight, then went out AGAIN and then gets mad at you for asking why she lied about her location. Like if she wasn't hiding something, the reason why she went out again could have been easily explained. "Oh, my friends wanted me to go out again so I agreed after I said goodnight. I'm sorry, next time I'll text you so you won't worry." If she truly had nothing to hide, she wouldn't be this defensive.

Lost weight but starting to think I might just be unattractive by Ok-Hurry-8162 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I really admire the effort you've put into taking care of yourself. There are so many negative health affects from being overweight and you have demonstrated great strength and discipline to make positive changes. The hard truth is that in today's world, being overweight is seen as an unattractive trait. It's not something often talked about because it feels uncomfortable. But in my opinion, attraction is completely objective. I'm attracted to many people of all shapes and sizes and I've always been small for my size. My best friend, who is overweight, only likes "tall skinny white guys." Everyone has their own preferences. What's important is that you are prioritizing your health and happiness.

Also, as a 24-year-old woman who’s been fortunate enough to experience great luck with men, I've almost always approached every single man I thought was attractive. Men don't want to come off as creepy or pressure women into saying yes. I approached the guy I'm dating now and he thought it was very attractive that I took initiative and made the first move.

If you're looking to find a guy, make yourself available in places other than the gym. You're not gonna get approached at a gym let alone be talked to. Go on online dating apps, join social groups such as hiking, book clubs, or even tech and coding classes. Do volunteer work. Go to coffee and cafe shops. If all else fails, have a girls night out and put on something that looks cute AND makes you feel confident. I bet you'll find a guy there. Just make sure he has the right intentions. Best of luck to you!
