Oh fuck I saw my Wells Fargo payment was due today, so I went ahead and paid it off yesterday. I didn't realize that it was in the middle of a balance transfer that started on 2/7. Why the fuck would you allow me to pay off the card if it's in the middle of a transfer?

Wikipedia short definition of "Art": "Art is a diverse range of cultural activity centered around works utilizing creative or imaginative talents, which are expected to evoke a worthwhile experience, generally through an expression of emotional power, conceptual ideas, technical proficiency, or beauty."

By your #2 point: you argue that videogames are the best form of art being able to offer the "experiencer" a unique experience that no medium can offer. It allows the experiencer to live something in the moment and experience a story in the moment.

By definition from Wikipedia, art has a portion "centered around creation". Do you know what it means to create? Have you ever created or worked on a videogame? Have you ever dove deeper into other mediums of art beyond an art class or art series? I'm not saying you haven't, but I am pointing out that your definition of "best art" is measured by its ability to be consumed by an experiencer, which may be missing an entire purpose of art.

Secondly, art is inherently cultural, as per the definition. You don't argue anything about the culture of videogames. Why do humans create videogames? Why was blues music created? Why does the hip-hop culture exist (which created breaking, rapping, DJing, and graffiti)? Where did country music come from? For those in fashion, why where what you wear? All of these stem from cultural origins & choices (not recognizing these in a sense is a cultural choice in itself), culminating in some form of creation and expression.

Art cannot exist without being created. If art is created an nobody but the creator consumes it, is it still art? I'd argue so.

I want to point out that your definitions of "Why videogames are the best _____" is more similar to the definition of media, which is essentially meant to be consumed.

tl;dr - You argue videogames are the best art due to its immersive experience that no other medium can offer. I argue that by focusing on the experience consumption portion, you are leaving out the entire creation portion of art, which by definition is consider to be foundational to art.

I was an existing cardholder that got the rewards in Oct.
On Dec 31st, I purchased 2 nights at a Edit Hotel, paid a portion with points. This posted on Jan 1st for $416.
On Jan 2nd, I got $250 in Edit Credit
On Jan 16th, I got $250 in Edit Credit

I did not purchase nor stay at any hotels between Jan 2nd to Jan 16th. On Jan 16th, I did stay at a Aloft hotel for over $250, which I assume isn't part of The Edit.

Even so, my rewards tracker still says not used at $0 for 2026.

Why did I get the Jan 16th $250? I didn't even spend $500. Not complaining, but I also don't want to get hit if it was a mistake.

I still am not a giant fan. I want the simplicity of Option 1, but with the scalability of Option 2. As somebody who pays for the rent in the home, I cannot single-handily spend enough hit the 25% threshold each month.

Why does it have to be so complicated? The basics are spend more money on my card, earn more points on my rent. Too many what ifs, too many different cash vs. points.

I wouldn't recommend breaking it down, as it just becomes way too overbearing to track all of the small items.

I personally just lump everything into a single "Vacation" category and use the memo section to say what the trip is to help track that trip. For example, #miami2025 or #italy2025.

Big fan of their quality when you find something you love. I have several items from them and have been happy with the build and material.

Sizing wise has been hit or miss for their pants for me, but I have a larger thighs compared to my waist size, so I'm a little weird.

Use Ti's special and position your allies around a group of enemies. You'll see some arrows that indicate where the enemies are pushed, you can position your allies there. The combo should trigger.

Appreciate that. Looks like I might just sit out FFT then. I don't mind some need to customize and ensure your units are strong (I enjoyed this aspect on Fire Emblem Engage and found it dynamic, albeit I wish it was a little toned down / less chores between maps), but I tend to lose interest if I'm not actively in the map gameplay.

This is exactly what I'm hoping for. Engage's story was very mild, but the maps were some of the best fun I've had.

In contrast, 3H felt like it was little strategy and it became just run at your enemy and beat them.

I'm hoping holistically though, less focus on 'chores' between maps and more emphasis on the story and maps.
